Claim up until now was maps would be 130x130 because of engine limitations. This map is comfortably above that, at some 225x225. That raises for me two questions:
- Are they fixed?
- Can we expect more maps like or larger than this?
I don’t know, honestly, this map feels small than a Sim map, at least diagonally

historically accurate large map, no match time, oh enter the match whenever you want, infinite objectives, i need this

A persistent gamemode would be fire, a massive map with push and pull from Blufor and Opfor to see who can rack up the most score each week.
I think biggest issue is the nuclear aspect of this mode is kinda incompatible with persistent combat. I’m sure with the logistics and convoy logic they’ve got set up though they could pull it off if they just remove the nukes as-is.

It’s because everything is placed in like 1/4 of the actual map and the density of AA is INSANE.
I did some checking and if it’s period accurate something like 60% of the entire Soviet air defenses at the time are on the map after a couple of convoy rounds spawn.
Ok so I’m not just complaining, here are my proposed fixes.
Overall a great addition and it needs to stay, ARB is so incredibly stale with just team deathmatch.
There are many issues that drain the fun out of it though. These suggestions are given in good faith with the hope it becomes a permanent game mode.
AA issues
-AA is all perfectly accurate saclos that tracks you behind hills.
-AA density is totally insane.
-Gun SPAA either does nothing or deletes you without warning, even Bradley’s / bmp will insta-delete you randomly when other times they don’t even try to engage you.
-All SPAA will 360noscope missiles fired at them making ARM totally useless.
-Respawn rate is totally nuts, you can’t destroy them as fast as they spawn (yes I know about depots etc).
-AA spawning underground, non radar aa tracking through trees is maddening
Plane issues
-The attackers are almost useless because of the aforementioned SPAA issues.
-You desperately need to be able to make custom load outs for the free planes.
-RU/US only is extremely rude, I have UK and SWE top tier planes, f me I guess?
-The phantom not having hdn pd is just ghastly.
Game mode
-Ground kills give you so little rewards and fighting the SPAA is so hard compared to other planes, the only way to get SP for nukes is to fight planes.
-The results from doing something need to be communicated. Great I took out an ammo depot, … What does that do.
-Respawn rate of ground units is crazy high, if you nuke a cluster they literally come back before you can rearm.
-We need some warning the enemy has spawned a strat bomber.
-Helicopters??
-There should be recon mechanics, spotted things should be persistent if they aren’t moving.
-Taking out s300/Patriot batteries should be compulsory before anyone can spawn a strat bomber. Combine this with ground units not coming back and you have an actual dynamic battlefield.
-Battlefield changes (major sam sites, e.g. hawk, Patriot getting wrecked) need to be communicated like airfield hits are.
Actually this is very good so you can ground strike easily and faster to get enough SP to spawn nuke. And the roland osa not a big deal if you go around them to nuke the airfield
Saying useless its exagerated, they can deal with ground but the interception of munitions by shilka and osa makes it hard. Imo using the su25t its way easier bc vikhirs dont get intercepted and ARHM missiles better than ir bombs on the a10.

They should have stayed with only preset free vehicles. No one should have bring their own.
Gives you score, sp and makes a little of bleed. Nothing different from destroying an AI ground unit.

uh… is a map the size of Lithuania not big enough?
To be honest, just the combination of an extremely large map, infinite respawns, super - high rewards, and the most classic gameplay is more than enough for me to recommend this mode. Moreover, it’s actually a breakthrough in game modes! I wholeheartedly recommend this mode to you.
Forget it about the nation itself having nukes or not - Japan gets Kh-38s cmon Gaijin only gives weapons based on tEcHnIcAL aBiLiTy so this won’t be a problem i suppose

Bit tough for this tbh. China only had Q-5s irl dropped nukes (if we exclude H-6/Tu-16) and Japan… well Perhaps JH-7 for China and give B61 to the F-18 in Japan tree? Or F-4EJ. (I know it isn’t supposed to drop anything from air irl but cmon)

I don’t want this mode to be added to the game, because the large number of nuclear bombs causes high server load, and other modes also lag along with it. Either remove the nuclear bombs or cancel this mode.
