These are two countries with many disputes over territory and interests…even a cold weapon conflict broke out a few years ago
I find it funny that people want Leopards but don’t want to play as Germany. They want to add the Leo to the UK without any logic. They might as well add that toAmerica.
The same thing happened in Singapore, they also have Leopard 2, and it is being fought over by Chinese and Japanese players, both sides think that this tank should be more complementary to their country’s top presets, but no one cares what Singaporeans think…
It is an indisputable fact that the Leopard 2 is significantly better than some tanks in pure ground vehicle confrontations… The Challenger, Type 10 and ZTZ99A all have significant protection and penetration disadvantages compared to it. Everyone wants their country’s signature gadget to be meta in the game, and Gaijin put some vehicles in 12.0 that clearly didn’t belong there, simply because the country lacked a “top” vehicle.

But also, yes, let’s PLEASE get Canada and Australia all in one tech tree. If that’s UK right now, so be it, it’s the one that makes the most sense. Or a Canadian/Australian tech tree, or something!

what do you mean, singaporeans literaly would prefer the implementation into israel or japan before china.
and the community supports them there. Nobody asks for it to be split, we are fighting for it to get the best implementation.
Just nobody is fighting the implemenation of the leo 2sg into japan or israel because those are relativ small trees which would benefit way more of subtrees then UK ever will.
UK has more then enough stuff alone, now even more so with 2 subtrees. Same cant be said with japan or israel

yes leopard is the best tank in the game but i wouldnt like to see it in every nation.
if someone wants to play on leopard, then let them play for the nation of Sweden or Germany. Otherwise these two nations will lose their uniqueness
the 2SG is quite a difference as well, since its not copypaste slop, so its not that bad.
Besides that no matter how much people try to overhype it. It still is an upgraded 2a4 which has its huge sight weakspot.
I have no problem with its implementation into another tree because its a more unique variant as long as germany gets the full revolution package themself or even the ATD
They also cope massivley over our colonial dominance over them. the few indians that play WT will be mad either way

Afaik most of Chinese player won’t accept India as their sub tree due to same reason
well a lot of people like @DevilO6 are a big fan of it.
I really don’t like that its a British subtree and its not for political reasons, I leave my political ideals at the door.
I don’t like that it means we will get a load of soviet junk to fill the British TT when we have domestic vehicles which deserve that spot and the few non-soviet things will just be awful.
Id much prefer Canada, Australia and New Zealand to be a “CANZUK” subtree like frances BeNeLux tree because our equipment is far more similar in gameplay style and it would finally let Australians and Canadians have one place for their vehicles, I feel bad for them as I would hate if my domestic kit was in multiple trees instead of one unified one. Canadians have to grind three trees to have national lineups, Australians have to do two its just unfair

that would already be blocked simply alone cause of SA. Once again bloating UK tree with to much stuff it has no business getting. Even if it wouldnt have had india
the SA tree screwed us so hard. I resent the guys that made it because of its unintended knock-on effects screwing over the more major commonwealth countries. I only give a damn about the AML-90 because of its use by Rhodesia and the olifant is just a great tank, the rest is pretty much pure trash that’s wasted space

and the gripen did save UKs ass as well else it would have had a massive gap even longer
Besides that the SA tree is the best implemented subtree of all with the most unique stuff and not simply copy paste stuff. it is all around good everywhere and still has multiple option for air left as well.

the superhind is a MI24, thats not unique and ingwe is only a little better than shturm ATGMs
our gripen made top tier more tolerable but man Darter missiles are not good at all yet its the same br as the Swedish one with RB99. If the tornados and harrier had gotten more realistic flight models it would have been a better relief in the short term until Eurofighter got added.
Its also restricting air as the bickering about aussie and Canadian stuff is limiting whats going to be added for them.

Also from the historical standpoint even if AU and CA never become a subtree of anyone all Australian equipment acquired before march 1986 and Canadian from before april 1982 should be in the British tree as they were still directly under British rule until them.
not sure if you will make this mistake or anyone else will but Dominion status is not the same thing as independence. Being a Dominion in they way they were after the 1907 imperial confrence just means their own parliament made laws for themselves, Britain still had overruling authority
its a heavy modified hind unique to SA and has its appearance massively changed as well as a result

And honestly just be happy Uk received the aussie F-111C as a resplacement for the F-111K that never made it in the british service and wasnt finished. cool so that rules out any modern equipment Uk playerbase is begging for and therefore is pretty much invalid and the whole statement turns useless since the playerbase wants to play the modern vehicles mostly. Less care about low tier stuff and its only a tediouts way for many.
For all i care Uk can get all pre 1986/1982 stuff. but as a result any modern stuff goes to the country of origin
