Meh map, wrong game type (conqest, domination etc.), uptier. Its quite common. Earlier I used to play every game, but since I’ve got several nations unlocked there’s no reason to accept idiotic maps or +1 uptier matches etc. etc.
I just leave without spawning, play another nation. Issue solved.
I noticed Gajin tried to nerf that by cycling maps in blocks. So when you leave one map you hate and join another match, it brings the same map again and again :) Well in this case just Alt + Tab and I do something else for a while.
SBMM is not going to change at all and nobody want to play against CAS who jump into plane after first death. The matchmaking is ruined by CAS players from rank 1-8 it wouln’t suprise me that players start leaving the game after spawning second time.
Look, as a CAS noob (i don’t do it currently, nor i agree with the tactic though) , do i HAVE TO play and get hit from things i can’t see because GJ needs me to put money on crews or play like forever to actually level them up or because bushes or because someone knows every hole in the map and shoots though walls because of the 1mm that sees the 1mm of the corner of your vehicle through a brick that misses in the wall, but hey you can’t shoot him because you don’t know the exact pixel that shot gets through , or spawn in a tank and pr0Jimmy is already there behind your spawn because while you were playing he had it mission of his life to go camp there and even more when i know that i may have a plane above my head already as i spawn ??? Or fk up my graphics every time i play Ground…to level the playing field…pun intended!
Answer: I no i don’t, i cap , i die , i spawn in a fighter bomber i mess your game because why not, pr0Jimmy can’t camp , then i go CAP and kill the CAS/CAP planes as well grinding my planes, i do recon as well my team know where you are ALL THE TIME , we win yippee!!

And no i don’t agree with the tactic, though if i want scores (events etc.) i do because it’s very easy for me to make them this way. And i’d prefer an only ground mode and i’d put an effort to l2p it.
But you know something? It’s very easy to get mad and do it, especially if your main mode is Air and have all the planes you need, know how to fight with a plane and see the first crap from the above happening to you. Why let the other crapper farm, while you can farm him instead? It is tempting i can tell you…
SBMM would actually change the game a mega amount, youd be playing with people of a similar skill level, and not getting farmed by some legend of cas.

the only area cas is a genuine issue right now is at the very top, where its literally swarming with carious planes with proper stand off weapons, various AGMS and guided munitions with literally tens of kilometers of range.

Personally i prefer them not having fun, while i have…if you shoot me from the wall, you see me i don’t see you…i don’t care if its the rendering cheats crews ulq graphics or whatever the crap , auto-plane and mess the game.
ARB can easily net 3-13K RP depending on match length in a ~180% RP plane. In GRB you’re never hitting that high due to the sheer fact that RP/second in ARB is 1.22 and GRB it’s 0.71. Matching the same activity and time alive with the same skill bonus in air kills (so 8 air kills versus 4), you’ll always come out worse “farming” in GRB with a plane.
Adding ground-kills does not assist GRB at all still. 1 ground kill without a critical is worth 24 RP before modifiers, 1 air kill is worth 67. Contrast with ARB where 1 air kill is worth 114, 1 howitzer/AA/car/light tank is worth 11. Bombing logic is more complicated, but you gain 1.45e-3 RP/base health damaged, and again for the same damage gain 7.23e-4/damage if the base is destroyed (before economic modifiers again - also these values are adjusted to 1.0x score multiplier on payload).
Finally, all the time you spend flying gives research to your plane rather than to your tanks. If you live for 5 minutes in a tank and fly for 15 minutes - you’ve just denied yourself 15x60x0.8x0.77= 554.7 RP towards your next tank or modules before economy modifiers assuming 80% activity.
Optimal GRB RP gain is to drive a single tank, maximize activity% (~1500 pts for a match that ends at 12-15 minutes in) and if you die, respawn only if you are certain you can get the next tier of skill bonus in your next life because respawning in a second tank where you earn less score than the first (and second spawns have less score earning potential due to distance to travel and fewer enemies left and inability to re-capture friendly captured poinets).
45th uptier of the day, and leaves, why bother playing the game at all at that stage, this is a genuine question, How many games do you just throw against the wall because “I dont like playing a game thats not entirely in my favour”
I have nothing against SBMM but it cause longer waiting time for battles because based on SBMM.
You should try play rank 3 and below because you will get overrun by planes in the second round dropping bombs killing your entire team. Spawn spaa is not possible because nobody have spaa or the spaa has only limited range.
You’d just have dead maps that noone will play (sometimes not even because of the quality of the map) and people who would only play 1 map for their entire career. Random maps also atleast give reason to have a versatile line-up (atleast from low to mid tiers) where you benefit more from either CQC or long-range engagements.
What do you even mean by this? xD my point is you wont have to wait for a damn match, unlike games that have far lower player counts where wait times can be up to 10 minutes.
I have a life outwith Warthunder, its why I barely am able to play more than a few games every few days right now. I’d still love to see SBMM implemented, would mean those few games I do and can play would be far, far more enjoyable.
