im not insane thinking the way i am… it isn’t fixing much of anything… i don’t know anyone that says “lets play 6.3” its 6.7 due to most nations have 6.3’s and 6.7 and being uptiered by even a small 0.7 BR makes those machines, honestly poor preforming… its a black hold of performance being poor in a uptier, lower rewards due to slower machines, worse machines compared to even a 0.7 uptier it causes players to stay there for years as a FTP or heck spending premium time people will still be stuck there.
sir, do you read words? wth are you even saying
yes but now, 6.7 isn’t 7.7 anymore.
1.0 BR matchmaking is 4 categories of separation.
Which is less compressed than 3 categories of separation with 0.7.
So arguing for 0.7 is arguing for compression as there are less categories of separation to put vehicles in between say Maus and Tiger 2.
Not really. The T29 has a better turret face but the Tiger II is better on the hull, by far.
I feel like the VFM5 should remain where it is at 9.3. It was over-tiered to begin with. Its functionally identical to the TAM 2IP which will now sit at 9.0. And it lacks the thermals of its cousin the XM8 which will sit at the same br and is getting a better round now too. Plus at 9.3 it will fit into the new 9.3 lineup Britain will now have.
Glad to see the Chieftain Mk.10 and Mk.7 not being included as they were both over-tiered.
The Naval changes fit with my experiences, except for Dreadnought which I don’t think should drop to 6.0. Dropping HMS Kent to 5.7 is long overdue. But there are a couple of Japanese Cruisers around that br that should drop a step as well. Namely Aoba, Agano and Tone.
I’m not talking about matchmaking, I’m talking about increasing the BR spread of vehicles, have the max BR be higher…
Why do you do so much worse with the T34 then if it’s “vastly superior”? Can’t lie to me when I can see your IGN, maybe that works for you on reddit but kinda hard here.
its not fixing 6.7 really, honestly. its 6.3 and 6.0 its really effectively helping in those cases of full uptiers…
@Stona_WT @Smin1080p why are the T32s being ignored? This is supposed to be about addressing the balance between conventional and Cold War tanks. The T32E1 suffers the most from this issue and it isn’t even addressed.
Soooo, we’re just gonna go ahead and undo most of the decompression changes of the last set of br changes? The biggest leaps in tech are in the 7.3 to 8.7 range so we’re really just moving the problem while reintroducing the compression in the 8.0 to 10.0 range.
We have 12.0 aircraft, raise the br cap for ground to 12.0 as well, give a lil extra wriggle room to decompress things further instead of just moving the problem.
Need to decompress the BRs first, which is what they’re working on.
Cause 7.7 matches. Over 60% of my matches in T34 are 7.7 matches where I die to a 7.7 MBT most of the time.
Cause T32s are fine where they are. They’re being lowered in BR from the fact everything is going up.
This IS decompression.
Nothing is being undone.
t34 is better than the tiger II because it’s more versatile, have greater penetration, .50cal, better mobility, and doesn’t trade everything for the sake of penetration and armor.
When it only has AIM-9Bs? Sure, overall the capabilities would be somewhat similar, with the 86 having the advantage in turn rate while the 100 has the advantage in speed.
You already have that same situation with the Super Mystere which already sits at 9.0. and arguably the Super Mystere is just flat better anyways since it can turn far better than the higher F-100.
With the entire old 6.7 britain lineup now at 7.7 will it have shell shatter removed? or at least a historic 4 sec reload to help it? whats this tree going to do vs 8.7?
considering almost everything 7.0 and up is going up is this some indication of a raise in the BR cap?
that would be nice.
Doesn’t seem to matter with your Tiger II, which is the exact same BR, but let’s ignore it.
people are just not used to not being able to lolpen stuff with their superior HEATFS
They’re not decompressing BRs right now. The only way to decompress BR is increase the amount of BRs (12.7+) to be able to spread vehicles around more instead of them being OP at x.3 and terrible at x.7.
Currently, increasing the BR of these cold war vehicles does decompress ww2, but because of the lack of BRs, it compresses cold war
horrible changes for ground RB, instead of raising all tanks past 6.7 in BR one step and then adjust individual vehicles according to their performance, you again only pick a couple vehicles to raise in BR, which will only result in further BR compression and performance issues, just that the vehicles affected will change somewhat, with now early MBT’s without stabilizer and/or only APDS facing stabilized cannons that fire APFSDS and have decent armor against APDS and HEAT-FS.
this is NOT how you do it gaijin, and you had such a decent track record since the spring meltdown, but i guess the effects of that havent really reached the people handling the BR balancing fully, what a shame.
