not really overall most machines that are 6.7+ are getting moved up by 0.3 and that is the majority of it…
the problem is that the machines that are getting moved up have issues WITHIN the BR’s that they are at in the first place, moving the machines up by 0.3 is a bandaid issue…
do you think the machines within the br’s don’t have issues with uptiers either? that’s the issue.
the rare chance the machines that are in this list got a full downtier will now only be at worst is 6.3, but the issue is WITHIN the machines aswell, this isn’t fixing most of anything besides those rare cases of cold war machines fighting wwll machines…
and it still doesn’t matter 6.7 wwll tanks will still fight cold war tanks… so it isn’t fixing the issue that most people want to be resolved… it fixed .3 BR bracket not the compressed 6.7-10.0 gameplay.
The machines here is where in some cases a 0.3 uptier makes a machine bounds better.
The PT-76-57 needs moving up to Rank VI it’s currently a Rank IV vehicle at 8.3 which means it can’t be played with its 8.3 lineup to actually research its own BR which is really stupid
French F-100 should also be moved down, it makes no sense being the same BR as the American and Chinese F-100s that get AIM-9Es while it only gets AIM-9Bs…
very good and very needed changes, but you did forget the rank IV heat slingers in the br change, like the aubl, the jpz 4-5, etc. Nice, now you can finally reduce the br range to 0.7 instead of 1.0 since there are a lot of lineups made. Also, whenever you want you introduce br increasing modules (like apdsfs, thermal and LR), since you just can’t do anything to vehicle having those on a long range map, they just need to point and click and you’re dead, while you can’t do a thing about it.
So all that talking about making it easier for heavy tanks then the T29 gets put at 7.3 while the Tiger II gets to stay at 6.7? Why such a difference in treatment when both have very comparable armor? T29 being almost a whole BR than the Tiger II makes no sense at all, you can pen it straight into the face with a 88mm. And the T29 will be the same BR as the T32 now, it’s just ridiculous.
The worst problem for air RB is the huge gaping black hole of 8.0-11.0. It’s carnage for all of the jets that have no countermeasures nor have competitive enough flight characteristics. Quick example would be the A5C premium at 10.0 against all of the 9.0 candidates for example sabres, migs etc… I don’t understand how this hasn’t been tackled yet but I hope you also see what everyone else sees. As we all probably know by now, the decompression of the ground and air battle ratings is essential for the games enjoyability. I think and hope that I speak for the majority of the users that we wouldn’t mind using a little more time queuing up to games, if they were more playable for every br. The map rotation battle ratings were a great change if Gaijin doesn’t want to decompress the battle ratings more. By limiting different maps for different br’s you could potentially create a gap between different era’s of jets.

Overall good changes, especially funny seeing Leo finally getting unified BR with OF-40 and AMX-30 instead of being a ~special little german boy~ sitting a 0.3 BR lower for no god damn reason.
Although some tanks need even more. The fact that T-55AM-1 is only going one tick up is insulting. That damn thing needs to be 9.0 accounting for new BRs.
Same goes for BMP-1 and Raketenautomat. Either split BMP-1 into BMP-1 and BMP-1P, two different vehicles at two different BRs, or move it in line with things like Bradley and Warrior.
Raketen isn’t even up for debate, this thing is outright an improvement in EVERYTHING over the U-SH and yet it’s at a lower BR. Tracked (let’s not fool ourselves - wheeled vehicles are much worse than tracked), better armored, gets more ammo. Are you okay? Do you need help?
In reverse to those, Sho’t Kal Dalet in UK tree going to 9.0 even with decompression in mind is absolutely insulting. You uptiered a premium tank that was powercrept out of relevance to 8.7 after giving it thermals (T-55AM-1 meanwhile 8.3 still) and are now “keeping it in line” with vehicles that on average absolutely smoke it with performance in most metrics.
Not exactly sure about the R3 T106 either, while it is an absolute rat bastard it’s not exactly a good enough vehicle to go up like that. It’s already almost non-existent in matchmaking for a reason.
SK-105A2/JaPz.k A2 also probably shouldn’t go up, they’re realistically just a slower and somehow less stable AMX-10RC
Additionally really hilarious seeing that Chieftain mk.5 isn’t being touched. Almost as if it’s identical to mk.3 or something, gee, idunno. Should’ve always kept them the same BR.
And it would be remiss of me to not point out that T29 going up makes very little sense. It’s basically an american Tiger 2H (yeah i’m gonna go there) and moving it up should realistically mean that its direct equivalent also should go up. Which would mean Tiger 2H at 7.0 but something tells me you don’t got the balls to piss off a certain stratum of your playerbase known for causing things such as 7.3 Leo and such.
In contrast, IS-6 going up makes perfect sense. It’s an absolute bully, as much as I love the bastard it’s really toxic to deal with and giving it a bump is a good change.
Honourable mention goes to F-104S, both regular and premium, still being kept 11.0
Because having a plane with a basically useless radar that gets exclusively 12.0 matches while rocking AIM-9P and not being able to actually outrun what it faces as the only reliable defense mechanism is really, really fun. Blow your pants off fun even. I’m not mad about my $70 pixel plane turning into a paperweight, why do you ask me such questions, it’s perfectly fine!
As a closing note, the overall BR ceiling still has to go higher yet and there needs to be more spacing within the range you’re fixing as well.

Can the vfm5 stay at 9.3 it has no thermals or a 5 second autoloader compared to the xm8 which is now getting a round even closer to the same performance.
i absolutely adores the t64 at 9.0, though leaving him with only the 3bm 15 and removing the 3bm22 would make it more fair. as for the strela, well, for me spaa targeting only air can never be too op so i could even see it at 8.0 (with also -1.0 for every ir sam system)
Can we consider reducing the br of mouse to 7.3,if mouse appears in the above table, he will have to face a large number of HEAT and APDS,this will make his experience very bad.
