All of 6.7 improves, which I’ve stated multiple times.
Tiger 2 is just one example that I’ve been using as to not clutter my posts with novels.
Give spikes to Puma if its 10.0!!! #GibSpikeWhen!
So the Ozelot, gepard and Chieftain Marksman all goes up?
But the Strela, ZSU-37-2 and ZSU-27 are staying where they are?
Way to reinforce the theory of bias guys.
And you’re trying to move US 6.7 right back into the Cold War zone. Just be honest and say you don’t want effective US tanks.
No I’m not…
T34 is not the only heavy of 6.7, but it’s obviously superior to both T26E5 and Super Pershing.
The fact you claim 6.7 US tank players don’t want our own tanks to be effective is just antagonistic.
I am very glad to see decompression!
M26 and Tiger II (H) are tanks I always wanted to play, but never did because of the 7.3s and 7.7s they constantly have to face as of now.
After this update, 6.3 and 6.7 will become far more enjoyable BRs!
I also appreciate how some of the uptiered tanks get a buff in rate of fire, as to fit better their new BRs.
The Spitfire MK24 should move down in conjunction with the P-51H moving up so they both sit at 6.7, Functionally they are both equally the two best superprops. I don’t know what to do about the MK22 it could be downtiered to 6.3 but it may be a tad too strong. Whats for sure is that the P-51H is too good and the Spitfire MK24 is not good enough at their respective BR’s.
I have the same opinion on the T29, I didn’t notice the IS-6 though. It definitely is in the same boat and should remain at 7.0. Even though I hate fighting it with BR 6.0 tanks there’s no reason for it to move up just to have it’s armor completely nullified.
Z-19 and Z-19E are 10.3→10.7 in the table, but the actual BR is 11.0. Also, bumping it to 11.3 would be very stupid. 11.3 has a Z-10
As someone who is a filthy AB player who mains WWII German tanks… this is phenomenal news. The T54’s, T55’s, and basically anything firing APFSDS are FINALLY moving up to the battle ratting they should’ve been at for years. (A T54 at 7.3… come on…) This truly is a momentous day for all German mains who play AB/RB.
T29 going to 7.3 is one of the decisions of all time.
Laser RF and Thermals? 9.0 should be the lowest you can go. No chance for any tank you face in half the maps once a B2 gets into a snipey position.
These are some good BR decompression changes. Pretty much everything here isnt changing its effective position in the BR range, so its fighting the same enemies as it normally would.
However there is one single tank that I noticed, that I dont think should change: The Type 93.
The Type 93 physically cannot engage tanks, It can only engage aircraft. Therefore its position in the tech tree relative to other tanks isnt very relevant. Its BR position should be relative to the aircraft it has to engage.
At 9.3 it’ll be having to engage faster and stronger aircraft, of which it is already widely agreed to be pretty limited against.
I think it should stay at 9.0, plus it also then allows you to make a good lineup with it and the Type 74s, rather than being forced into a sub par lineup with only the Type 16 matching its BR in the tech tree (and Type 74G if you have it).
If the T29 is staying at 7.3, it should get remodelled as the T29E3 with the range finder modification, and volumetric turret armor, the internal spall shield should also get increased from 20mm to 25.4mm. T29E3 APCR should also be buffed.
Same goes for the T54 mod 49. Unreal how that thing was at 7.3 for years. Simply put, it was arguably the most overpowered tank in the game.
Nice to see some decompression of a BR bracket in ground rb that needed it. 20pdr Centurions will probably suffer from this, facing less 6.7s when they’re not really competitive vs a lot of other 7.7-8.7s. They are not competitive with speed, armour or firepower, the stabilizer is all they really have.
Sea Fury FB 11 should not be going up in BR, that is very odd.
I would prefer air SB be balanced around an aircraft being successful during it’s top (downtier) day (e.g., 8.7 during the 7.7 - 8.7) than it’s bottom (uptier) day. I think this makes the system as a whole more balanced overall, as some aircraft and BR ranges are less resilient to being uptiered but are quite competitive at their BR. If an aircraft isn’t competitive with it’s peers on it’s top day, that would be justification for it moving down in my opinion.
The Leopard 1 shouldn’t be at 8.0, that’s almost the Turm III"s new br wich has the same gun but stabilised and has an extra big masinegun. I think the Leopard 1 should be at 7.7.

Great change overall for the tanks, but I see many forgotten early jets in air AB :
-French F-100D and chinese F-100A 9.7 → 9.3 : like the american one which is the same plane with better missiles.
-French and italian F-84F 9.0 → 8.7 : like the american, israeli and german one which are identical.
-French and israeli Mystere IVA 9.0 → 8 .7 : it has no IR missiles, no afterburner and worst aerodynamics compare to the Super Mystere B2 which is also 9.0. The 30mm canons are good but a 8.0 sabre has better flight performance and its energy retention is terrible. The comparison is even worse with a 8.3 Javelin or Scimitar !
-Mystere IIC 8.7 → 8.3 : same issues than its big brother but with even worst flight performances. -
On the opposite moving the Yak-38M to 9.3 seems to be a bad move compare to the planes I listed above. For the same reasons :
-AV-8A 9.3 → 9.7 : almost untouchable if flighted well with its countermeasures, huge climb rate and (too much) good missiles for its BR. -
Also in air AB the japanese Ki-84 hei at 7.7 is way too high for a prop plane with poor top speed.
All the Ki-49s should go from 3.3 and 3.7 to 3.0 and 3.3 as they are poorly armored bombers with small bomb loads compare to other nations at the same BRs. -
For ground AB : E.B.R. (1951) 4.3 → 4.0 the gun is ridiculous at this BR.
-
And finally for naval (all game modes) : Type T-51b 2.3 → 2.0 the survivability and the armement of this boat is too low at its curent BR.
My dear, the only way to decompress something is “stretching” or “expanding”. What they are doing is taking something out of one side and putting it in another, decompressing one sector and compressing another. The only way to decompress is to raise the tanks to 12.0 BR.
I was happy for a short time. Too bad, now I will see the Turms packpremiums and their friends in 10.0 again, with an uptier in each match. I’m sick of them breaking the lineups like this and forcing us to play with vehicles that nobody wants to play.
