the IRIS-T SLM has the highest effectiveness against destruction of vehicles according to statshark, so this seems unwarranted

the Thunderbolt and the AGS 120 are two different vehicles. Externally they look the same and both have 120mm guns, but their interior automotive arrangements are different. The thunderbolt used a smaller hybrid electric drive power pack which allowed for 2 dismounts out the back, while the AGS 120 was just an up-gunned XM8 with the older and larger powerpack.
Ye, if anything the new SPAAs should move up. Sadly it doesn’t look like ground will get a max BR increase this update.
Also while we’re at it, don’t you think the mysteres are a bit overtiered? At least the IIA, it feels like a sidegrade to the Ouragan no?

As always here are my thoughts on the changes for Air Realistic Battles. The tech tree re-organisations all seem pretty good, and introducing more foldered vehicles both makes the tech trees look a bit neater, and helps with research. Rank IX does mean that anyone with a Rank VII premium will now NOT be able to research everything with it. This is a bit of a shame, but I suppose it was always bound to happen. It would be nice if the cost of Rank VII premiums was softened a bit to reflect this fact.
This round of BR changes is also a bit light on, there isn’t really anything that is egregiously bad, which is nice, but I think there are far more vehicles that could do with a BR change in Air Realistic Battles.
14.7 is, of course, a good change. However, I’m reluctant to give too much credit for it, because before the line of contact update, top tier was 14.3, and line of contact introduced vehicles that were more capable than the previous top tier vehicles, but at the same BR as them. 14.7 should have come with the release of the Su-30SM2 and the AESA Typhoons (and taken the Rafale with them), not a month and a half later. 15.0+ would be BR decompression, 14.7 is simply keeping the same level of compression and accounting for the fact that we have more capable top tier fighters now.
The F/A-18E does not perform on the same level as the other fighters at 14.3 and 14.7. The FM is a sidegrade at best from the F/A-18C, and while the radar is very good, and the quantity of missiles is very good, AIM-120s are slowly fading from the META as it shifts towards missiles with very high off-boresight capability. Most pilots I have talked to greatly preferred flying the F-15C Golden Eagle at 14.3 than the Super Hornet, as it is essentially has the same level of weaponry and avionics, but it has a more versatile FM for top tier ARB. To be clear, I am not suggesting the Golden Eagle be 14.7.
The Su-30SM2, EF-2000 (AESA) & co. and the Rafales are all deserving of 14.7. Nothing to comment on here. Very good.
The JAS39E is also deserving of 14.3. Not that it was broken or OP at 14.0, but it was very competitive and had a lot of cards to play, so 14.3 is fine given the radar it has.
The F-15A & co. going to 12.7 is a bit more… interesting. These vehicles were actually rather strong at 13.0, but given that they don’t have amazing pull/AoA, and they only weild sparrows, they were quite off META. The FM is fantastic however, it is very fast at altitude, generates energy extraordinarily well, and has a massive sustained turnrate to go alongside it. It actually is a bit of a monster in energy-dogfights and can hang with some of the best at the BR in duels too (I’m talking F-16 Block 15s, not Gripens). It has loads of countermeasures, a good RWR, a good radar, and a good gun with shitloads of ammo. The skill floor is just very high, so people tend to do poorly in it, and this thing will be absolutely demonic at 12.7 in skilled hands.
The A-7E and A-7K were absolute shitboats, and even though they are attackers with strong IR missiles, I am completely ok with them moving down in BR.
The MB-326K is an absolute frag bus - it absolutely prints high kill games because of its Airspawn, the fantastic damage on the newly buffed DEFAs, and its reasonable manoeuvrability. Against props, it wasn’t really fair, but against jets, this massive frag potential was actually a bit fake - the flightmodel is not really anything special for 7.0. Sure, it was a good FM, but it isn’t on the level of F2Hs, Su-11s and Sea Meteors that it will be placed with at 7.3. I have mixed feelings about this, because I dont think it was actually necessary when you really examine the FM, but the plane was so easy to frag in that I honestly don’t blame you.
The Potez 633 has an okay FM for a bomber, but it very lightly armed and very slow, so I don’t think that 1.3 is a bad change.

I’m not sure, but by the way, I see that on the server you don’t have planned br role, so I’ll see if we can rectify that so you can get access to more channels

fix the f14a by giving it aim-9Ls and the f-14b with aim 9ms and fix the phoenix missiles.

No they aren’t very good for their current BR with current weapons.
The F-14A especially is bad with AIM-9H rear-aspect only missiles at the same BR as the F-15A now.
Even the FA-18A at 12.3 has access to 6x AIM-9L.

you have insane range missles, some planes you fight cant even detect the launch properly let alone properly defend against them
AIM-54 are a joke missile. If you get hit by one its a skill issue.
