The ef2k (AESA) is the only one that can really negate the weakpoints of amraams

Do you know that the developers have assigned the J-10C a higher drag coefficient at high altitudes and speeds than the F-15E and Su-27? Compared to the F-16I, the F-16I has a significant energy advantage, and its greater number of countermeasures gives it better survivability. Without energy, the J-10C cannot perform defensive maneuvers.

No. The AIM-120B and AIM-120C, when launched with the energy advantage provided by the Eurofighter Typhoon, can effectively suppress enemy fighters at high altitudes. Once suppression is achieved, they can then engage fighters at lower altitudes from a dominant high-altitude position. If we only discuss missile performance in isolation, I may have been overly critical of the PL-12. However, when combined with the performance of its carrier aircraft, using the PL-12 on the J-10C rarely delivers a satisfactory experience. The J-10C is almost entirely suppressed across all altitudes by platforms like the Typhoon, Rafale, and Su-30SM2.

The M24 like the M4A2 and Panzer 4G/H/J got moved to rank 2 to make grinding events with them harder so they likely won’t change it back.
The minor nation M24s aren’t played as much so they forgot about them.
Having actually played both. I would rather be in a J-10C than in an F-16I any day of the week.
Flight performance only gets you so far when you spend half the time going through ghost targets with an inconsistent mech radar when the J-10C has a much better radar and much better missiles for up close.
The F-16I doesn’t have the flight performance or missile count to effectively use the main strength of the AIM-120 anyway.
You can see here that this is mainly due to the airframe and defensive kit
Subpar airframe and low countermeasure count are what make the J-10C have a high skill floor and just unfun to play
I do hope the J-10C gets some airframe improvements soon

My guy, the F-16I absolutely doesn’t have an AESA radar. How can you so confidently talk about a jet you have evidently never even looked at in game?
Also it has no NCTR, so have fun actually identifying what are ghost targets and what are planes.

Yeah I think so. At least all the planes I own with AESA radars have TWS ESA instead of TWS+. Iirc it was introduced to help with the ghosting issues of mechanical radars (not that it helped much).
