Churchill mk.1: Down BR, 3.3 to 3.0

Reason: The Churchill Mk.III has been downgraded to 4.0! The Churchill mk.I, with decent armor but using a 2pdr gun, has no place in 3.3, exposing the tanks versus many vehicles who they’re too powerful for it. Without forgetting the 3.3/3.7 BR constantly gets placed in 4.0/4.3 battle. The battlerating reduction would do it a lot of good.

Chieftain Mk.3 : Down BR, 8.7 to 8.3

Reason: As with the case above, the Chieftain mk.3 is let’s say : she’s slower than the Mk.5 and it doesn’t have APFSDS ammunition like most of its competitors at the same level. The vehicle would be the equivalent of the M60A1 (AOS) or the T-55A who they’re 8.3 ; it would be great, if the Chieftain Mk.3 followed suit.

Chieftain Mk.5 : ADD L23

Reason: It doesn’t have APFSDS ammunition, the APDS was nerfed in few update now and no laser rangefinder like the most of its competitors at the same battlerating. It’'s one of slower MBT in the area, without interest; you could have in 0.3 BR a better and well armored chieftain for hulldown position or a boosted/armed Chieftain has a premium (Khalid tank). Give the Mk5/2 modification.

Chieftain Mk.10 : ADD Mk.11 modification option to search

Reason: it’s a hulldown position tank. All vehicules in the 8.0 - 10.0 area have laser rangefinder, giving TOGS modification with the Mk.11 modification would help to be competitive.

Challenger mk.3 DS: ADD L26 and Raise BR to 10.3

Reason: The reason for the request to receive the L26 ammo is that it is a Challenger mk.3 and like all other premium MBT vehicles at this level, its place is in 10.3 (Leopard 2 Pzbtl 123, M1 KVT and soon T-72AV/2S38) if it receives the L26 shell

T-72AV and 2S38: Raise BR, 10.0 to 10.3 minimum

Reason: T-72AV. This one has caused a lot of ink to flow for far too long. Its imposing better performances than others vehicules in the same BR, it’s more capble and should be the same BR (minimum) of others premium MBT.

Not too mention the fact that the Challenger Mk2 converted for Desert operations for “Desert Storm” was exclusively deployed to Iraq with the L26 shell and not the L23A1 when they came back they were then consider Challenger Mk3s. Not only would increasing the Challenger DS to 10.3 with L26 shells be great for the line-up and overall health of the British TT at that bracket. But it would actually be 100% historically accurate

(it would have some of the fire power to necessary to deal with the main tank it fights, the TURMS)

As for the AH-64D(JP), there is a situation. For some reason, this Vehicle kept missing the BR increase in the past BRChange and was set to a lower BR than the AH-64A (the same BR as the YAH-64!). ). This was strange by any measure, so the need to increase the BR was undeniable.
As for the Type 16, I think the decision to increase the BR is also appropriate, as it was also very active with its extremely high mobility and high performance APFSDS at a low BR of 9.0.

I agree with you about the Type 87/89, the Type 89 has a missile glitch. I can understand if the missiles are fixed, but with the current performance, it is not a priority. 87 is also a powerful vehicle, but I don’t think it is efficient enough to immediately increase the BR. However, there is no doubt that 87 is an excellent vehicle, so I can understand it to some extent.

Ships:

USS Arizona to 7.0 - I disagree with this move. The Arizona isn’t competitive with the other 7.0 Battleships. On top of that, she doesn’t have the AA defense you see with the Nevada. It would make more sense to move the Nevada, because although she’s also not competitive with the Scharnhorst or Kronshtadt, she at least has better AA defense.

Prinz Eugen and Admiral Hipper to 6.0 - After review, I support this move.

  • The Prinz numbers are inflated by being a favorite of botters, facing another favorite of botters, the USS Moffett - My main arguement against raising her.
  • Raising the BR won’t change which ships the Prinz sees as a bottom Tier ship. There is no ship above 6.7 in Rank V, and all 7.0 ships are at Rank VI, so she still cannot see them.
  • On the other hand it significantly helps the few 4.7 BR ships at Rank III that currently see her. They’re almost all DDs and Light Cruisers that stand no chance against the Prinz or Hipper.

Rank means nothing for matchmaking. But does matter for grinding the next stuff.

Much better being rank 8 for grinding out new things, than going down to and being completely pointless once rank 9 arrives.

Near one of the many starfighters would fit well being it main use if for cas as a filler aswell to rank 7 but yeah i see what you mean

Rank is not used in matchmaking. Only BR. She absolutely will see 7.0s

Basically that. It got nerfed a second time and has to face rolands and Tunguska without actual standoff munitions. Like wow 4km slow as hell missiles, great! Only .3 BR away from the very much underperforming and clearly equivalent KA-50!

So, I’ve kinda got two thoughts on the BR changes that stand out in my mind.

the first is that I still would like to see the B-29 Superfortress having its BR lowered. I’ll admit, I have a lot of favoritism for this plane due to irl history, but I’m really tired of facing down jets which feels like every single game. so much so that I haven’t sent it out for a while.

the second I think is more, and it’s that the Ka-50 is not on the list of aircraft getting its BR raised. I’m not sure how an aircraft with 12 anti-everything missiles isn’t increasing in BR yet the AH-64s with their sad excuse for AAMs and decent AGM-65s are increasing in BR.

Why is Ryany getting moved up to 4.0? Compared to Besposhchadny it already has worse main armament, secondary armament, and anti-aircraft…

Ryany’s main guns have worse firing angles than Besposhchadny, particularly across the bow, not to mention Ryany’s A turret cannot traverse 360 degrees like Besposhchadny’s. Ryany is also significantly worse at fighting coastal boats, as not only does it have fewer secondary guns, but worse firing angles, as Ryany’s secondaries have zero degrees of gun depression. And of course having fewer AA guns makes Ryany less potent against aircraft. The only thing Ryany has over Besposhchadny is 2 kts higher speed…

Why not move Besposhchadny up to 4.0 and keep her weaker sister at 3.7? Otherwise there is no point of playing Ryany over Besposhchadny.

As for the Chinese helicopters, it is definitely the influence of the TY-90. That missile has shown extremely high performance not only against helicopters but also against fighter aircraft. Despite the lack of sources, the performance is unusually high compared to other missiles in the same class, and I don’t think a BR increase is necessary if the performance is reduced to that of the Mistral.
But if you want to maintain that crazy performance, unfortunately, I don’t think a BR increase is necessary.

merkava 3 should go back to 10.7 they can’t work well in 11.0br ,KF41 need more atgm not only two and it’s br should be in 10.3

Soviets were “nerfed” already.
2S38 is the same BR as Lvkv 9040C.
BMP-2M is same BR as M3A3.
Object 279 was “nerfed” on release.
Ka-52 is already 11.7, thus already “nerfed”.
Ka-50 is already 11.0, thus already 'nerfed".

Russia doesn’t have amazing equipment.
If they were truly OP their performance would be above the performance of all other MBTs in those players’ collections.

SUMMARY: Move ASA down to 11.0, It gets constant uptiers in 11.3 and is obsolete in every way, there are jets at lower BR’s that can preform better than it.

While we are on the topic of BR changes, can we get the F-104.ASA down a BR to 11.0? It’s current state at 11.3 means it is constantly uptiered into toptier (That’s just the harsh reality go test if you’d like) There are almost similarly preforming to better aircraft already at that BR AND LOWER like the F-104S for example which is SOMEHOW better than the ASA, More missiles and a stronger radar (I have no idea why). The ASA constantly getting uptiered makes it unplayable, maybe in the year when it was added this aircraft was top of the line but now it is obsolete, we have aircraft that overpreform it in it’s own BR range in maneuver, missiles, flarecount and SPEED (which was it’s once saving grace). I love this aircraft but I’m basically forced to use the F-104S instead because it’s so much better equipped plus a -.3 BR that holds it from getting thrown into toptier.

Either BR lock 11.3 / ASA from getting into toptier matches, or move the ASA to 11.0, You can even folder it with the F-104S then (I know you warthunder are trying to use folders more nowadays)

Yeah no gaijin this is the wrong step we need decompression not compression remember why you decompresed the br? So WW2 tanks don’t face Cold war? Yeah keep it like that everything is good as is I respect a few changes but not the 1.0 - 7.7 stuff changing it’s completely uncalled for you WILL see that br range die completely from veterans nobody will willingly play this br anymore please don’t make this mistake I can’t make any judgements on Boats or Air I’m just starting on Air but I will say this A6e nerf is great mig21sps is bad keep it as is r60s shouldn’t face 8.7 sabres not on a very fast and capable platform the the yaks are bearable but not that it will ruin that range same for the su25bm R73/Aim9ms DO NOT BELONG IN A BR FACING JETS WITH NO FLAIRS SAME FOR ALL ASPECT BUT WE ARE STARTING SOMEWHERE I don’t mean to be disrespectful but please if you care about your player base DO NOT DO THIS

The Leopard 2PL should get KE-W so it’s on par with the M1A1 AIM, or give it DM53 and move it to 11.7. Germany has no 11.3 vehicles so it has no line-up.

I dont think that the ZTZ88A/B and similars should be on 9.0, since we get full uptier All the time, these Tanks without thermals cant deal with 10.0 Tanks.

And its really suspicious that All the Helis get a higher BR except the Dominator of High and Top Tier, the Ka-50, this thing kicks my a** every Match.

Kv-220 can go up but IS-3, IS-4, IS-6, 279 are fine at their current BR.

Tiger, Panthers, IS-2, etc WW2 vehicles BR changes need to be reverted. They are fine at their current BR.
