I have played this game since 2013 and havent once made a forum post.
Moving china 8.7 to 9.0 is a huge mistake and will RUIN that whole enjoyable lineup by blackholing it to 10.0. You might as hell was deleted those tanks from the game.
And doing so less than a week after the t-69 II G went on sale? Shameful
Revert the BR changes to the ZTZ 88A/B and T-69 II G
Have you ever played with J-8F, don’t have any illusions about PL-8. This is not a good enough reason to raise the BR. The J-8B is inferior to the J-7E in airframe performance and RWR; the J-8B requires a PL-8. But if it increases BR, it is much better to keep it the way it is than to fight those 12.3 shills.
Obj279 8.7——9.0
KA50 10.7——11.3
T55AMD 8.7——9.0
All tiger need +0.3 BR
Z9W keep 10.0
Z9WA 10.7 and + 4AKD9
Wingloong need 2AKD10
Z19/19E need 8* AKD10
Z10 need 16*AKD10
J7E and J8B need PL-8
Is there a reason why the decompression for GRB doesn’t include a plan to add more BRs? It would allow more space. When balancing 5.0-7.0 in these changes it won’t overlap with the decompression that just happened for WW2 and cold war era changes. I’d rather see an update that adds more BR’s with overall planning for BRs and better balance.
Oh no you can’t just aim center mass and pull the trigger anymore on anything besides a Jumbo… oh no you have to use your brain and position your vehicle like the rest of us.
For all the changes that should be there and aren’t, I gotta hand it to Gaijin – they made the right choice moving the MiG 21 SPS K to 9.7. It was power crept to obsolescence at 10.0 with either no gun or no flares and only a pair of decent missiles.
I don’t understand the Type 89 moving up, this poor excuse of an IFV has been hit with nerf after nerf after nerf…first nerf was not being able to shoot on the move, then massive turret rotation nerf, Limited first stage ammo nerf and has to reload ONE BY ONE, already had meh thermals and optics, after the missile physics change it can’t even use it’s missiles anymore because they either miss or hit the ground. this went from being such a fun and awesome IFV to literally in my opinion possible one of the worst and you want to move it to 9.0??? I mean come on now stop making a already challenging TT even worse.
I would like to point out here that the Prinz Eugen going to 6.0 is a very good thing on paper, but due to BR compression it will now be facing 7.0 ships reliably.
We really need more naval BR decompression
Tiger I can’t penetrate IS-3 anywhere frontally nor a 165º arc (and completely laterally, only the lowest part of the sides, as long as there’s no angling at all), and it can’t penetrate T-95 anywhere on a 270º arc except for the cupola.
It’s funny you claim that Tiger “now can’t just aim center mass” when that’s exactly what you want to happen to the Tiger. You say Tiger should just “use the brain and aim” at a IS-3, yet you failed to do that against Tigers, ironic.
Not using it in most games sounds like a you thing. Outside of urban areas it is very effective, and most urban maps still have wide open areas like Polen or European Province. You don’t need huge maps for that. If you can aim properly you can hit non-hovering helis (made easier with proxy over a dart) and HE has a much better chance of actually killing a heli instead of just flying through its cockpit without any major damage. Screw heli damage models. And it’s not like you’re snapshoting helis with any tank, the vertical guidance really isn’t a problem.
Okay, cool that you did that. But I would argue you would play an MBT differently than a rat scout. I’ve done well trolling with a Sd.Kfz.234/2 at 9.0 back when the C2A1 and M48 Super were still 9.0, but that doesn’t mean that 50mm APHE is great ammo at hightier. It means flanking in a rat hitting side armour doesn’t need proper ammo and alot of people play like they’re legally blind.
Okay, so now let’s look at the statistics for Object 279.
The first statistic is for the month ending September 30, and the second is for the month ending October 10.
I see that the kill rate has remained between 5.1-5.3. There is a possibility of bias if the population is small, but both have over 3,000 data points.
You may know that ThunderSkill is not a full statistic, but there is no doubt that Vehicle, which requires this efficiency, had extremely high efficiency even with Gaijin’s statistics.
I am very disappointed in the fact that Gaijin intentionally missed a Vehicle that could produce this efficiency.
Raising the BR from 8.7 to 9.0 would be inevitable.
This is the first time I’ve ever commented on one of the forum posts, so sorry if this is a weird format.
Why in the world is the Type 89 and Type 87 RCV going? The Type 89 has been absolutely gutted and is almost an entirely different vehicle than when it was added with how many nerfs it has gotten, and the Type 87 RCV facing the 10.0 premiums seems like a horrible task. The Type 16s we’re fine where they were, and now the lineups of the entirety of 8.0 to 9.7 Japan are screwed over. The AH-64DJP also lacks the defensive capabilities of its counterparts, and is somehow now the same br as the Ka-50. Finally, why is it only Japanese (and Chinese) upper tier vehicles moving up in br? Where are vehicles like the Object 279 and such?

Again what a tragedy, now German Mains have to use their brains. I know very hard. The Tiger 1 is going to be a flanker, which is how you should be playing it same with the Panthers. I don’t know if you know this neat tip. You have a 88, with decent pen, decent armor, decent speed, etc. Figure it out. Using the Tiger 1 like a frontline heavy is why the damn thing has been 5.3-5.7 for so damn long. Also your whole statement is worded really poorly, what saying that I fail to do that against tigers? Like I shouldn’t have to say this but like, those tanks have always been 6.0+ capable. I don’t shed a single tear for the German Mains, they have had the most undertiered tanks it isn’t even funny.
Type59/69s armor is the same as T54, it’s a huge advantage as you get 80mm side armor and frontal armor without holes. ZTZ88 doesn’t get any of this. It has big holes around the gun breech and one at the driver port which leaves 3/4 crew exposed to small APDS, most people don’t seem to actually aim with autocannons though so mostly you’ll have to worry about the 60mm side armor that barely protects you against a Marder A1 (but not 1A3).
Thicker turret is actually irrelevant as basic APDS still goes straight through just like how it does with every other chinese tank. The composite chunk is actually the only part in the tank that can really block APDS, it’s practically just 100mm of extra armor so it doesn’t block much else
A suspicious lack of RU vehicles on the ground and rotary side of things…
German WW2 going up was needed. IS-2’s debatable either way.
Everything ground related above 8.0 is basically compounding the issues created by the last BR sweep, issues that weren’t even addressed BEFORE doing more changes.
Take a look at how other games get balanced Gaijin. They have a path of logic that WT completely lacks.
You have to revisit and refine previous changes before making new ones. Why do we bother with feedback if it’s ignored once you the change has been implemented. You have no idea how the change will actually affect things till it gets playtime with the masses.
