Planned Battle Rating changes for the month of October

Fair haven’t played the comet a whole lot recently but Ik back then it could easily go through UFP of a Panther since I would always face then playing the panther then again they would always go for my turret since ya know it has a “flat” turret with only 80mils or so

The A6 is a perfect example why Ground RB and Air RB should have different battlen ratings. Most of the changes seem fine to good though. VIDAR should go up more. Is the change for the Char and the AMX-50 really good enough to warrant those vehicles going up in BR though?

Yes, but the BR difference post patch will be .7 from the m4a1 to the a3 when its mostly the same vehicle, with a welded hull as opposed to cast, + more hp

The M26 should stay at 6.3. It already struggles as is to kill the existing 6.7 to 7.3 tanks it faces, and pushing it up to 6.7 would have it facing 7.7 things it even more so can’t kill. Take this with the additional knowledge that the M26 is one of my most played vehicles in War Thunder and I know it incredibly well. It’s going to suffer to a point of becoming irrelevant and unplayed by people because it’s gun can’t pen 6.7 or higher things

Fair enough, they are both quite difficult to deal with to be honest with you.

ZTZ88s have slightly better mobility than T55AMD and a shell with a bit more penetration than DM23. These small advantages come with the massive disadvantage of having worse armor than type59/69, basically you have russian design with only it’s disadvantages and autocannons can shoot through your front

Where’s the Ka-50 Gaijin?
Why isn’t the Ka-50 being changed Gaijin?
You have the stats, you know how well it performs Gaijin.
Russian bias isn’t real, right, Gaijin?

P.S. Have you considered doing something other than nerfing the Type 89 and 87?

Comet APDS won’t work against Panther UFP ever since they reworked the penetration of APDS rounds in update “Sky Guardians” if my memory doesn’t fail me.

I dont understand the point of the Type 89 now its straight garbage where it is going

It still has a wrose round than the other 11.7 abrams

No, again, it seems like you haven’t played it before the customizable loadout changes. You can take two bullpups and 8x 500mm HEAT rockets OR 1x gun pod, 1x bullpup, and then the 8x 500mm HEAT rockets too.

Well you have your explaination.

Slightly better armor and massive boost to motility.

Good thing the game isn’t simply balanced by “who has the biggest stick”, but by comparing all of the capabilites against one another… then again, what would you know about this when you haven’t played anything but Sweden (and Russia via premiums) to top tier when it comes to ground vehicles. Your opinion is completely worthless on the topic of the AIM and 2PL.

The rockets are still extremely hard to hit and the bullpups if you carry 2 make you defenseless no need to increase its br since there is no 7.0 tank to pair it with

Least the mantlet it can and has for me like im not saying it is terrible but its not as good as Wiese is making them out to be

Obj279 should be upper BR. Do it now.

Right either way just bc you can’t pen the UFP of a vehicle doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be up tiered (which basically what the other guy is stating) and about the QF compared to the Zis-S the base reload is much faster tho when both aced its the same

If you find it difficult to hit the rockets with it, then you seriously have a skill issue xD.
Just practice with it and eventually you will become really good with them. They aren’t Tiny tims for christ sake.
If you feel like you are defenseless with those two bullpups, take the gun pod instead of an extra bullpup, it’s as simple as that.
There’s no 7.0 tank to pair it with, that is correct. So it shouldn’t matter if it gets uptiered to 7.3 anyways.

Yeah but when its 7.3 it starts to face better jets and since the guns have no tracers it needs all the help it can get air wise

That’s not how crew reloading skills work.

The difference between a stock and a fully maxed out aced reload is always a 1.3× multiplier.

Take the US 75 mm, 5 second maxed reload. Multiply this by 1.3, and you get 6.5 seconds, which is the stock reload.

If the Comet’s 77 mm QF cannon and the ZiS 85 mm share an identical aced reload, then their stock reload will also be identical.
