From what i can see, the American F-84F is also 9.0, and is actually the only of the F-84F that is Rank V, where all the other of them is Rank VI.
I think the reason that it is rank V compared to the others, is because they wanted to spread out the planes in the American tech tree.
It still is relevant to lower BR tanks and some equal BR ones, like T-55s having terrible darts most of them use as main rounds.
Yes, the armour doesn’t hold up to everything, but thats true for almost all tanks. It does help alot against IFVs though, for example.
I can still name its armour as an advantage over the Leo1, since it still makes a difference, especially if you lose your gunner by autocannon spray to the front or not. The M60 as a way bigger profile, and the angles are less sharp on the turret.
The dart is roughly equivalent to DM23, which most 9.0 MBTs use, yes, that is why it makes sense up there. The T-55s have alot worse darts, don’t tell me you’re looking at 0° pen at a BR where no tank has flat armor at the front except for tiny spots on the turret?
In my experience they 88s darts have great spalling and kill everything they pen in one shot when aimed well.
Idk what lack of other features you speak of. they have an LRF, HE-VT ammo, T-series’ dart-eating fuel tanks behind the UFP/LFP, great armor against low caliber guns, upgraded turret traverse and mobility over other T-55 models, a .50 cal on top that alot of western MBTs lack…

M61 shot can pen the front armour of the churchill VII (albeit fairly close range). The Churchill VII (with its aweful pen and no HE filler), should honestly be the least of your concerns for many tanks.
No I’m sorry but no I’ve played said vehicles for a long time back when Britain had a Very very strong 6.7 line up it was horrible facing them and when I would play American 5.3 back when the A3 76 was 5.3 and America actually had a good line up I would face Tiger ll Ps and yes they’re annoying to face until you realise that the neck is very exposed and can be penned was on top of that it has the worst Turret out of the Tiger lls and if you’re playing you should have APDS when you’re 5.3 vehicles which should go through very easily. But I’m only speaking from past experiences playing with it and against it in different countries and I’ve never thought it would have to go to 6.7 and even if it did you’ll still go against it if you play 5.7 so there’s no difference.
I don’t have the Type 79 yet, but the SACLOS guided missle carriers I test driven and used were far, far better, because the missles can actually be guided now without that huge flick.
A-10s are usually braindead or slow, I’ve managed to get around them for the most part. Su-25s are harder because they’re a lot faster and flown by Soviet pilots (lowlifes) instead of American pilots (children).
All changes of WW2 vehicles like Tigers/Panthers/ISM/M26 are so dumb. There is no point to changing these BRs.
Previously leo 1 went 8.0 which is totally useless at this BR, especially vs 9.0 with stabs/apfsds/thermals. You totally destroyed german 7.3 BR, now u want do destroy 5.3 of few nations… There is no logic at all.

I totally don’t understand how A-4E with huge and custom loadout, AAMs, flares, guided bombs can be on the same BR with G.91 R/3,4 with useless, nerfed to the ground nords, no AAMs (R/3) no flares, very small loudout and weak bombs.

7.7 with barely 209mm penetration at 0m even with 4 sec reload is dumb idea.
Those tanks are struggling with 6.7/7.0/7.3 tanks like T-55/Is-3/Is-6/Tiger 2h and now it would face 8.7 tanks like T-55AM-1 or T-62 with great armor, stabilizer, apfsds rounds…

One of the most modern artillery from 2018 year NOW is facing 6.7 WW2 tanks like Tiger 2 from 1944-45. Almost 80 years between them. It’s like WW1 Mark V tank from 1918 would face M1A2 sep from 1998.
I know year of production isn’t good for balance, but we need to understand that Gen 3 thermals, LRF, Powerful HE round, autoloader at 7.7 is just a joke. It could handle 9.3/9.7 without problems and it’s still would have huge advantage over vehicles on this BR.
I bet Vidar got 7.7 for Money, pure greedy move.
Let’s put Premium Tiger 2H sla 16 to 4.3 BR, that would be as unbalanced as Vidar.
German/USA KPZ/MBT-70/XM-803 9.3 → 8.7/3
After huge nerf of APFSDS rounds those tanks can’t penetrate anything frontally on 9.3 like T-64B which is totally immune on this trash dart.
The only good thing of these tanks is mobility.
20mm RH-202 also got huge nerfs so KPZ/MBT lost his potential at 9.3 and it’s the worst MBT at this BR.
8.7 would be fine, bc KPz/MBT-70 doesn’t have good armor, good rounds and mobility alone isn’t a reason to let it be at 9.3 BR.

It’s very similar to German RU-251 and there is no reason to let it suffer at 7.7 and face 8.7.
M41D in China TT is just 0.3 higher (8.0) but it has gen 2 thermals, LRF, apfsds rounds.
Swedish IKV-91 at 7.7 has 400mm heat penetration and LRF.
So comparison to other lights around this BR EBR 1963 is one of the worst or even the very worst 7.7 light tank.
I honestly disagree with the decision of moving the M4A1 76 to 5.0 , increasing all tigers with 0.3 BR , puting the M26 in a crazy BR for its capabilities… and also getting the M41 to 6.3 with out giving it smoke or even HEATFS as its german counterpart
Also kinda surprised why the the T32E1 stays at 7.7 for ages even tho it still outmached there it simply a T32 with no machine gun port only doesn’t deserve it … should be on 7.3 and the jumbo 76 should be back to 6.0 it is literally getting crashed with 7.0/7.3 downtired tanks
Also about the B29 and the TU4 sitting at crazy BRs for a prop bomber to be so for the love of god drop the B29 to 6.7/6.3 and the tu4 to 7.0 even with increased repair cost they would be ok with props it kinda crazy to spend whole battle climbing then you get outclimbed and shotdown in a sec before droping a single pound of bombs…
For the rest BR changes i honestly like them especially panthers to 6.0 / IS2s/ and even VIDAR to 8.0
2S38 & Strf 9040C are worse than Otomatic by far.
AH-64D is superior to Ka-50 by far and you want them at the same BR…
And AH-64D & AH Mk1 are identical outside of anti-helicopter.

IS-4 & Maus are fine at their BR.
VIDAR will be fine at 8.0, that’s where I’ve been playing it personally and it’s rather balanced there.
M4A1 76 going to 5.0 changes nothing since there’s no 4.7 lineup.

The Comet can’t even pen the UFP of a Panther anymore, why should they be expected to fight Tiger 2s? Same goes for the T-34-85 (D-5T), and a very large number of tanks that will be facing uptiers constantly. When I was grinding for the Cent Mk.1, 38/41 games were full uptiers to 6.3. It was absolutely ridiculous how helpless most of your lineup (which consisted of 3 at-BR vehicles btw) against Tiger 2s and Jagdpanthers. The turret neck is a weakspot, yes, but it’s a tight shot at range and a 10 second reload and 5km/h reverse speed guarantee you won’t make another shot at them.
There is a 4.7 lineup though? T14, T55E1, M4A1 76W, M4A2, M19…
SK60 and SAAB you clearly havent played them if you think they should go up in BR
