There already was little reason to play the 6.3 BR lineup over the 6.7 one, and 5.3 can still be played well without the Tiger H1, there are still alot of good vehicles. On the other hand, Germany now gained a strong reason to form a 6.0 lineup, which gives the Jagdpanther a proper home and keeps you outside of IS-6 range and almost outside of IS-3 and T29 range compared to 6.3.
“far better armored” at 9.0 is pretty much pointless when everything has a railgun. As well the turret shape doesn’t help much at all unless the shot is extremely poor. hell most 8.7s don’t have a issue penning the turret I have no idea where you got the idea it is somehow better armored than most other 9.0 MBTs. Comparing it to a leopard for armor is dumb because the leopard was never built with armor in mind. a better comparison would have been the M60A3 which on paper looks worse but due to the angles is much more survivable than the ztz 88 turret.
The dart is just okay at 8.7 they aren’t special compared to dm23 or 33 which is just better even the T55 darts are better on average in terms of damage. They might not have as good angle pen but they are better in other ways. The dart for the 88s lack spall in my experience which hurts it not to mention while the gun might be “good” the lack of other features really hurts them. They really shouldn’t be moved up
I just realized the Jagdpanther is staying at 6.0.
Is this for real?
I go against Tiger IIs in French and British tanks with shells that shred them like paper, at 6.0 and 6.7. At same BR I can do that very easily, but note that whenever they are the slightest bit competent, I may come out with 4-6 kills, but my teammates get steamrolled. And when I’m playing against a Tiger II (P) in a 5.3? Which they face VERY often, mind you? Barely a chance. They needed to go up.
Tornado IDS Marineflieger should go back to 10.7, It’s terrible at 11.0 with no guided munitions for non naval targets.
Struggles to pen Shermans? Never had that problem personally, always goes through the UFP like a knife through butter.
I can now sleep well knowing that the J29F won’t need to worry about transonic jets with 9L’s when I get it :)
Gaijin please do not butt fuck the Italian 9.0 line up It will seriously impact my enjoyment of this game with my friends. I will buy however many golden eagles it requires to prevent this from happening. There is sincerely no reason to be doing this.
Remember that the Tiger II (H) rarely has any issues penning the M26 at any angle and at pretty much any range.
Why are all of the 10.0+ US helis going up in BR along with multiple other Western helicopters, while the KA-50 is staying at 11.0?
Honestly this makes the vehicle just bad, it should stay 8.7, if it’s really somehow OP then might as well move it to 9.0 with T-69 II G ? Even T-69 II G really doesn’t need the uptier. (More of AB perspective)
For the love of god please do not destroy my 5.7 lineups. Leave the panthers at 5.7
Csaba [RB] 1.3 → 1.0, it has a weak cannon (rifle) with a very poor damage, rate of fire is quite slow for such caliber. Compared to AB41 it’s a worse vehicle only capable of capturing zones (also add a vertical/shoulder stabilizer to this thing);
KF41 [RB] 10.7 - 10.3, it has only 2 Spike atgms, which don’t help much, it could stay if it had more though;
A109EOA-2 - add TOW launchers (just 2 missiles at least) to a stock loadout, currently it’s one of the worst stock experiences with only 28 Mighty Mouse available.
RN Attilio Regolo should be classed as a “destroyer” according to its gameplay, currently it gets deleted by real cruisers from the spawn. It has no armor, it’s an overall equivallent to Tashkent class, cannons do a very little damage compared to even smaller calibers.
Again, balance is not done on vehicle capabilities but entirely on the stats of the people playing them.
Top tier Israel has good players, so their stuff all gets kicked up. German big cats have terrible players, so they have historically gotten crazy low BRs for what they are.
It has a worse P/W ratio than the Panthers, no stabilizer, rangefinder, or smoke, armor is roughly equivalent, reloads slower and that 90mm has much worse pen, solid AP as stock round. The only bright point to it is the APCR performance.
At 6.7 it will be paired with the T-44 and Type 61. The T-44 is faster, better armored, smaller in profile, and gets Russian APHEBC to counter sloped armor that also has more filler than the 90mm.
The Type 61 has no armor, but much more speed, and gets HEAT-FS, rangefinder, NVD, and smoke.
MiG-21SPS-K needs to stay at 10.0. I know it’s rough to play a plane with no CMs but dropping a supersonic plane with 2 R60s to 9.7 where it can face 8.7s is not the right move.
Top tier everything needs to get 12.7, that means the 29SMT and the F-16C go up as well as the other good planes going up 1 BR step.
Ah yes, the M26 is the equal of the tiger II. The fact that you can’t pen the KTH frontally while the KTH just needs to click… somewhere on your tank, at any range is fine. Totally.
The M26 deserves to stay 6.3 and honestly the super pershing could go down due to its lack of mobility and long reload. It’s more of a M26 sidegrade. The M26s with the long 90 should stay 6.3 as well.
IS-2 should stay 6.0 and the IS-2 1944 should stay 6.3.
KV-85 and M4A1 76 to 5.0 is fine, however, gaijin needs to stop nerfing SPAA. Crusader and Bosvark need to stay the same BR, they’re fine.
M19 and M42 should receive a .3 BR decrease for each; they are such bad SPAA that hunting tanks is where you will find the most success half the time, and they have such weak survivability that they are not even OP when it comes to that.
Panthers and Tigers going up is good.
M4/T26 → 5.7.
It’s literally just the worst things about the M36 and the sherman combined to make a higher BR vehicle. Doesn’t deserve 6.0 BR.
T25 → 6.0. This vehicle is on par with a panther due to having the short 90, but no armor. Would be fine where the M4/T26 currently sits.
Not dying to a gun-only strafe is a very, very big increase in survivability. Alot of my Wirbelwind deaths are bc there are 3+ planes coming for me simultaneously while I’m trying to swat all those spawn campers out of the sky and I can’t kill them all fast enough before I get strafed and lose my gunner to become a sitting duck. The Skink only gets crew damaged by big caliber cannons, which are rare and much harder to hit with, and doesn’t die to badly aimed bombs and rockets either.
Look at the Kugel being at 7.0 and think about that post-ww2-BR PzIV chassis for a second.
Mi-28 and Ka-29 are not included in this list, they should also be increased to 11.3 with the rest of helicopters like Apache.
All of these BR suggestions will be in regards to Realistic Battle:
Me 262 A-1a 7.0 → 6.7

Su-25BM Stay at 11.3
One thing i would suggest is to give spotting to the FV102 Striker, since it is part of the CVR(T) series of tanks, which is quite literally a reconnaissance tank.
A10 and Su25 is still 10.0 and SPSK that has R13M or R60 will move down to 9.7 for somehow btw
