500 horsepower compared to 410. On a flat road the M4A3 reaches 40 km/h in 11 to 12 seconds compared to the M4A2 doing that in 16 seconds. Even the T-34-85 performs the same task in 13 seconds.
All this in realistic.
Also to point out that the BR difference between the M4A3 and M4A2 is 0.4, not 0.7. In fact in arcade they are both 5.3.
What did the British SPAAs do wrong? They’re solidly mid, not bad but not that strong by any means, yet regularly seem to move up, especially compared to things like the Ostwind and Wirbelwind. The bosvark is an unwieldy, vulnerable bus and I don’t think I’ve seen it in battle more than twice since they were added.
Also are we gonna ignore that the American F84F is at rank V and gets an airspawn but every other nation’s F84F is at rank VI at the same BR, loadout options, etc. but doesnt get an airspawn?
Where is the IS-7? Where is the Obj 279? If I recall correctly neither were uptiered last BR changes despite everything around them going up to decompress 6.x. Now those 5.x and 6.x vehicles are moving up, reversing the benefit of moving up everything above them, and making the Obj 279 and IS-7 have even EASIER opponents to kill.
Both the IS-7 and Obj 279 need to go up a minimum of 2 BR steps. They’re absolutely busted in their current BR ranges and the only reason they don’t regularly dominate is because of their rarity.
Well the Comet has APDS that can still pen it plus it’s a QF gun and on top of that I’ve played the D-5T many times and have had no problems going against the Tiger ll not like the pen of the D-5T changes anyways when you go to the Zis-S so and like I said I’ve played American 5.3 which is worse off since they have one 5.3 and it’s the A2 76
But the T-55s also have APHE which the 88s lack as well as missiles and heat which while the 88s have the heat and VT which the VT is let down by bad vertical guidance so it’s not a huge deal as you are making it out to be the other two removes the flexibility the T-55s have as well the AM-1 armor is miles better than the 88s. The 88s armor help it against lower stuff to a degree but that goes for any mbt that isn’t a leopard 1 that’s like saying a shermans armor helps it against 2.7 tanks but struggles against 4.7s like sure it helps it in a downtier but that’s it. Against anything higher it struggles in most cases unless the other person doesn’t know how to aim.
Against auto cannons is useful but pretty much every other tank can do that which it isn’t anything special. I have no idea what you even mean with the turret being “angled” it is entirely flat on the front baring the corners which if you aim to those corners than that IS a bad shot. It is very easy to pen on the turret since it’s 220mm max which really doesn’t help at that br range.
If it is a DM23 equivalent than move up the Tam than since it also has DM23 and is better than the 88s on average.
Against the baseline M60 sure but the A3 is better on the angles as well the crew is much more spread out so it is much harder to one shot where the 88s have the issue like all 55s that being the crew packed together.
“don’t tell me you’re looking at 0° pen at a BR where no tank has flat armor at the front except for tiny spots on the turret” I don’t but the angle pen also isn’t everything those “tiny weak spots” aren’t as small as you are making them out here. on most tanks even more so with a laser range finder they are very easy to aim at since most maps don’t allow for much sniping to begin with since most maps are brawling heavens.
The MiG-21 SPS-K has no place below 10.0. It’s a supersonic with two R-60s, highly manoeuvrable and fast, and you want it to fight 8.7 with 30G missiles!? That’s an absolutely terrible idea. Just. No. Can we please start moving supersonics and high G missiles out of 9.x, not into it, because that BR range is a horror show even after the Su-25 and A-10 went up. On that note, move the MiG-19, MiG-21F/PFM, Lightning, and F-104A/C all up a BR step as well. They have no place at 9.3 fighting 8.3s.
The Comet’s APDS cannot go through the UFP of the Panther unless at such close range that you use your gun depression to shoot into the UFP. For early APDS to defeat the Panther’s UFP (80 mm at 55°), 232 mm of penetration are required.
Also while it is a “Quick-Fire” gun, it has an identical reload to the aforementioned 85 mm.
I killed an IS-6 & IS-4 using T26E5 with ease, so I guess my perspective is they’re rather underwhelming to fight against, at least when your ammo is as or more potent as T26E5’s APCR round.
First off I’d like to say these are some interesting changes and I look forward to seeing how this shakes up mid-tier RB. I’d also like to offer a few suggestions of my own:
For Air RB:
A6M5 otsu - 5.3 → 5.0
It’s not even the best Zero but has the highest BR?!? Also right now it shares a BR with the A7M2 which obsoletes it.
For Ground RB:
Pz IV F2 - 3.3 → 3.7
Pz IV G (Germany) - 3.3 → 4.0, Rank II → III
Pz IV H - 3.7 → 4.3, Rank II → III
Pz IV J - 3.7 → 4.0, Rank II → III
Pz Bef Wg IV J - 3.7 → 4.0
Pz IV G (Italy) - 3.7 → 4.0
Pz IV (Sweden) - 3.7 → 4.0
I am once again requesting the long 75mm Pz IVs (F2, G, H and J) receive BR and rank increases. Even a semi-good player can take a full lineup of Pz IVs and curbstomp 3.3-3.7. At the same time, it feels a little unfair to Germany players that their Pz IVs are all rank II (except the premium), making them ineligible for events like the other countries with Pz IVs. IMO it’s a win-win with this change, better balancing around 3.3-4.3 and not locking players out of events with a fun lineup.
VK 45.01 (P) - 5.3 → 5.7
Seems like all the Tigers are going up, but the Porsche was forgotten about?
That’s all I can think of right now, will give more feedback if I think of anything new!
True, my bad (corrected), but still the flight perfomance is abysmal for a 9.0 jet. And the german and israeli ones are 8.7 for literally no reason, exact same aircrafts.
DM53 (shares BR with M1A1 AIM which is better in practically every single way, but also is stuck with a round it never used [DM43] instead of the historical DM53/DM63).
