Planned Battle Rating Changes for February 2025

This is incorrect, the stat card is a lie. The Ariete will do mach 0.93 at the deck, Sabres top out at like 0.91 at the fastest.

The Namer Tsrikhon should not be moved up unless it is given more missiles. The thing usually loses all of its ammo in one shot to the turret, which happens more often than you’d think. And your one saving grace is if you didn’t use the two spikes in the hall before the turret was shot. Spikes can be very powerful, but four is inadequate for a large, slow 11.3 vehicle. Another idea is to increase the armor on the Namer, as it’s nearly the same weight as the Merkava Mk 4 with less armor. How can it be a single ton less than the Merkava when it doesn’t have a giant turret and has less armor? That makes no sense at all! Even Israelis say the Namer is more armored than their tank, stating they reinvested the removed weight from the lost tank turret into extra armor.

You don’t need capabilities to defeat the F-14s Fakours, simply turn away from them and they miss.

The Ariete’s statcard is incorrect, its actually faster than every sabre. 1127 on the deck

I still wonder why the EBR 1951 is 4.3 in GAB. People around have the marker to find it, and its speed can’t compensate for its lack of firepower and survivability. It’s faster than a M24 on paved roads, but that’s about its sole advantage and the M24 is 3.3.

So decompress until they aren’t.

Yes, it will be. I fly the thing. It is unbeatable when played correctly against subsonics… you can literally win ratefights in a spiral climb against some subsonics if you don’t piss on the throttle and yank it around… it still is a much higher energy plane than subsonic korean era jets.

Ground realistic, JA-37D 11.3 → 10.7.

Reason: is comparble to the Mig 21Bis, Mig23M/Mf and F4 phantoms that got a br decrease in ground. JA37D has worse ordanace but gets better missiles (aim9l). So it’s a perfect counter part to the Mig21’s, F4 and Mig23. And comparing JA-37D with Torando IDS you see the JA-37D has better flight perfromance and countermeasures
But as a trade of way worse ordance and rwr.
This warrents a decrease in br in ground.

It doesn’t have to be, its to separate it from the earlier MiG-17 variant because we don’t have enough BRs yet to decompress further than that. Lim-5P is closer to CL13B than CL13 Mk5 to me but I am not perfect in knowledge here

Absolutely. This is what I prefaced my original post with.

Perhaps pre flight model nerf, the sustained turnrate of the J35 is not good now, even if you are careful with it and hold your speed well. Statsharks puts it at 13.5 deg/s and this is with minfuel

But look, I agree with you man, we’re just a victim of the compressed brs. Lets not argue anymore, you seem sensible enough

Ground realistic, JA-37C 11.0 → 10.3. Reason: is comparble to the Mig 21bis and Mig23M/Mf that got a br decrease. JA37C had less countermeasures, worse ordanace and worse missiles (only rear-aspect) this warrents a decrease in br.

this concept is foreign to most players, you can do this to every single FOX 3 in the game.

Ground realistic, F104S.ASA 11.3 → 10.3.

Reason: Slight better ordanace the the F104G at 10.0. Get access to limted amout of aim9L’s. This warrents higer br. But comparing the F104S.ASA with similar aircraft at lower br like Torando ids (10.3) you see that the F104S.ASA has worse payload, way worse agility, RWR and amout of countermeasures. But it has better speed. Hence it should be at a comparable br (10.3)

You need functional RWRs and countermeasures.

The F-104S.ASA RWR does not give information on the direction of the incoming missiles. How is it supposed to defend against a fox-3 missile that can kill it from across the map

The MiG-23MLA has an RWR with no launch warning and only four sectors. It is IMPOSSIBLE to gauge the angle of an incoming missile precisely enough to be 100% sure you can notch it with only 8 directions available to you on the RWR scope

You dont think about this. You only think about your precious plane. Its better to make one plane weak than to have a whole family of planes suffer.

Air Simulator Battles, Ariete (Italian aircraft), 9.0 > 9.7

The Ariete has extremely strong guns, some of the best maneuverability, and a TWR that makes it faster and better-accelerating than everything it faces, on top of being an incredibly small target. At its current BR, nothing can even come close to beating it if not flown as poorly as possible. Even at 9.7, it would be stronger in a dogfight than anything it would face, but at least there would be an answer to it, rather than have it dominate matches to a degree that is just oppressive.

Finally a sane take today, I’m sobbing internally

Lets be honest. It should be 9.7 in RB too

Can you buy me a mig 23 ml i love russian jets .

Again, you don’t need an RWR or countermeasures to decoy the Phoenix/Fakour. When you enter the notch and beyond, the missile cannot track you anymore. That’s a fact. You don’t need to precisely notch it. Just fly away. It’s really as simple as that. Please stop asking.

It’s cruising speed is around 900km/h realistically, beyond that it locks up when you try to dive on someone.
