I see no logic being used here to come to this conclusion. The IRIAF operates at a level greater than the average 12.7 at disrupting 11.7-12.3.
Vehicle: HQ17
Gamemode: GRB
Change: 11.3 —> 11.7
Reason: HQ-17 is an exceptionally powerful anti-air system, comparable to the Pantsir in terms of capabilities. Its missile has an extended burn time, giving it an impressive effective range, while its high responsiveness to input allows it to engage and track targets with extreme efficiency. Given its performance, its current BR is too low and should be increase.
IRIAF does it at too low of a BR relative to its counterparts. It is for example, STRICTLY a better jet than the F-14A early despite being the same BR. Anybody defending this seems to just be IRIAF owners…
There’s no reason to take you seriously, as you think an aircraft’s suffering is justified.
It’s very true. The Fakours cannot track past 88 degrees. So not flying at them indeed makes them not a threat, as they are no longer able to track you and are guiding in IOG until you recommit.
Those aren’t at 12.7, and the ones at 13.0 are on worse platforms and often with worse avionics.
Because it’s missiles are worse than modern ARHs. That’s why.
Did you respond to the wrong comment? What are you even replying to in my comment?
Ground RB, Turm III, 8.3 → 8.7
While having a full stabilizer at 8.3 isn’t unusual, the Turm III also has extreme mobility, a fast autoloader, very good gun depression, and a powerful coaxial 30mm gun that make it outclass its peers and leaves no room for counterplay from same and lower BR light vehicles. To quickly illustrate this, I’ll compare it to a couple similar vehicles at 8.3 and 8.7.
Vickers Mk.3 advantages:
• Frontal armor resists autocannons
• LRF
• 4 crew instead of 3
Turm III advantages:
• Strong coaxial 30mm cannon
• Massively better reverse speed, better forward speed (25km/h vs 11.5km/h and 65km/h vs 50km/h respectively)
• Better hp/ton (20.1 vs 18.6)
• Better gun depression (12° vs 10°)
• Fast 5 second autoloader with all 47rd of ammo in it
At 8.7, the AMX-30B2 is pretty comparable to the Turm III. Their mobility is very similar, both get a coaxial autocannon, and both get a 105mm cannon. While the AMX-30B2 does resist autocannons frontally, has APFSDS, and has a LRF, it has no stabilizer, no fast autoloader, and much worse gun depression.
You mean like the back of a Volkswagen?
Air RB, F-20A. 12.7->12.3. Reasoning: It is worse than the F-16A in every way. It’s slower and has less weapons (for some reason). Thank you.
Question to the devs: there is no BR change for Simulator battles mode
The F-4F ICE is 13.0 in Sim and has the same kit and an arguably better radar than the Tornado F.3 Late, yet it’s still 13.3 in Sim but getting lowered to 13.0 in RB.
Furthermore on the topic of higher BRs in Sim than in RB: The Su-27S, J-11 and Su-33 do not equip any Fox-3 missiles yet they all are at 13.3 in Sim while being 13.0 in RB, fighting Eurofighter and Rafales in the 13.3-14.0 bracket lobby is borderline impossible, especially if we remember that Su-27S and J-11 are equipped with the SPO-15 RWR.
Keep in mind that the F-15A is 13.0 in Sim so my question is, Is there any scheduled revisitation of the flanker series BR in Sim?
Thank you.
Generally at top tier I’m not using a Mig-23.
It’s not an issue there too, because everyone gets some sort of fox-3 missile.
The F-4ICE is superior to the F-14 IRIAF in almost very way. Great radar, very great missiles, and better MM. The only advantage is the FM.
J-8B (Air RB) 11.3 → 11.0
how it is fine at 3.0? it’s extremely easy to use at 3.0.
even in full uptiers, it’s easy.
The A-10s. They do not need to go up in BR, but rather back to their original BR. Or at least give them the forward spawn planned for them. They are quite literally flying bricks that are only a threat to you in a head on. Crippling an already poor vehicle efficiency because players refuse to do anything other than the same tactic of flying low and left, in air frames largely meant to intercept strategic bombers. I am well aware of players being better. But their is no agrument for increasing their BR or not letting them go back to 10.0 and 10.3 respectively.
Yes, completely agree. However I do not see the solution to this being to increase the BR for the IRIAF, instead to lower the BR of the F-14A. That would create problems on its own though, a wider decompression would be necessary.
Simulator Battles, Mirage F1C (All variants). 11.7 > 12.0. The Mirage F1 is actively stomping in simulator battles due to it’s unmatched weapons kit, adequate avionics, and adequate flight performance. It is simply outrageous that it is below the likes of the F-4J/F-4S.
Which is why I think the ICE should go up too.
It feels very unfair (but fun) to face F-4S’s in an identical plane with a vastly superior armament.
disagree but not that it should be moved down but others should be moved up. sadly with these BR changes 9.7-10.3 will be very BR compressed and will greatly affect 9.0 and 9.3.
