Planned Battle Rating Changes for February 2025

Or the fakour gives you ~5 seconds to react and you die because your aircraft physically cant turn into a notch that fast.

According to Gaijin, they werent solid performers anyway. They can absolutely go back down to their original BR and we would be in the same position. If players can learn to do more than fly low and left, they won’t be threat. If youre losing to a brick, we call that a skill issue.

Good boy

Arcade, F-117, 8.7 > 8.0 (8.3 at least): the F-117 carrying only 2 bombs can’t compete against other bombers in payload nor base destruction. Comparing it to the B-57A which can destroy bases in 2 passes with bombs leftover for another base while the F-117 need 3 passes to destroy a base. Being at the same br as the B-57A help provide the trade off of having a bigger payload with worse flight performance or having a smaller payload to hopefully get to the bases faster. The F-117 at 8.3 can provide the trade off with the B-57B where you trade bombs and guns for better engines (not that it helps).

You really don’t see that every argument you make is backward though?

This argument applies to everything. You can say this about any aircraft you face in a full 1.0 uptier. That’s why it’s invalid.

AIR SB, A-10C. 11.7 > 12.3. IFF HMD, Aim-9M, maneuvering more than fighter plane?!

What do you think AMRAAMS or other radar missiles do? Because the IRIAF could carry two somewhat good missiles it now has to go against several dozen AMRAAMS as some sort of revenge?

Vehicle: Netz
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 12.7 ----> 12.3
Reason: Just like the F16a, this F16 also can only take 6 non IRCCM IR missiles and struggles at 12.7 and up. while the Python 3’s are very good, they are easily flare-able and similar in playstyle to the aim-9L just with more G turn capability. although not as powerful as the r-73 with its off the rail thrust vectoring and IRCCM making them only a little better the the aim-9L.

PBM-5A
Air Realistic Battles
move from BR 3.7 to BR 3.3

reason: the PBM-5A at 3.7 is far too slow (some rank 1 biplanes can EASILY catch it) and not well defended enough for being that big of a target.
and the lack of engine fire extinguishers means that an engine fire is near guaranteed death

anything with guns that shoot bigger than 13mm obliterate it, and at its BR it already faces many aircraft with 20mm and even 30mm cannons

compared to the BV-238 at the same BR, its only real advantage is its ability to hit more bases;

however, due to it being FAR slower and FAR less well defended, it rarely reaches the bases in the first place, let alone hit them.

What weren’t?

Who?

You should maybe consider that people can be better than you and still disagree with you on something such as this because I don’t have to be constantly dying to something to think it’s an issue. In fact, the people who DO need to do this are literally just whiners reacting to external stimuli that kills them lmao

Welcome to toptier, players will have to learn to deal with being forced into non-comfortable defensive positions. This is an issue with every fox 3.

Your point?

Yes, it was and still is one of the strongest 10.7s in game and slaps most other 10.7s without much effort. It either needs a BR increase or it’s heat sig getting a 10x multiplier

I see no logic being used here to come to this conclusion. The IRIAF operates at a level greater than the average 12.7 at disrupting 11.7-12.3.

Vehicle: HQ17
Gamemode: GRB
Change: 11.3 —> 11.7
Reason: HQ-17 is an exceptionally powerful anti-air system, comparable to the Pantsir in terms of capabilities. Its missile has an extended burn time, giving it an impressive effective range, while its high responsiveness to input allows it to engage and track targets with extreme efficiency. Given its performance, its current BR is too low and should be increase.

IRIAF does it at too low of a BR relative to its counterparts. It is for example, STRICTLY a better jet than the F-14A early despite being the same BR. Anybody defending this seems to just be IRIAF owners…

There’s no reason to take you seriously, as you think an aircraft’s suffering is justified.

It’s very true. The Fakours cannot track past 88 degrees. So not flying at them indeed makes them not a threat, as they are no longer able to track you and are guiding in IOG until you recommit.

Those aren’t at 12.7, and the ones at 13.0 are on worse platforms and often with worse avionics.

Because it’s missiles are worse than modern ARHs. That’s why.
