Planned Battle Rating Changes for February 2025

BR 14.0 → 14.3 for Air mode (AB, RB & SB) only

Personally, I might need gajin add AIM-120C-3 & AIM-120C-5 on F-15E if battle rating 14.3

Change BR for Air mode only

2x Magic 2 replace with 6x MICA IR

In Air mode (AB, RB & SB) up to 14.3

So might received Python 4

Air AB, RB & SB. 14.0 → 14.3

Personally, might add AIM-120C-5 AMRAAM on F-2000A, EF-2000 (T2 Blk 10) and Typhoon FGR.4

G8N1 bonks props out of existence with SINGLE hits from 2000 away. I have literally flown over kilometer from away from it and once we were both flying in opposite directions (so our effective rate of distancing from one another is probably around 250m/s) he started firing and still one shot me when the distance between us was over 2km, so the shell had barely any kinetic energy left, yet 16g of TNT ripped my entire wing off.
Fun times.

I am absolutely TERRIFIED of G8N1 while flying a goddamn high alt interceptor Ta-152H with tons of guns and ammo.

We don’t need more power creep. Decompress the top BRs first, then think of adding more munitions. These aircraft already dominate the matchmaker even without these munitions. They do not “need” them in the slightest.

Simulator battles, Panavia Tornado F.3 Late 13.3>13.0. The same reasons as in realistic battles. We shouldn’t forget about it as in the case with F-4J(UK) Phantom II.

The mantlet of the T29 is effectively 190mm of RHA from the CHA modifier and the fact its flat with no angle(0°), That’s the same effective thickness of the Tigers face due to it being 185mm of RHA which has a 8° angle.

If you test both with the Tiger 2H’s APHE it comes out to the same, Both are 190mm effective to the shell.

Also the T29 has charges in the turret cheeks that HEAT has a far easier time setting off than the Tigers ammo which is in the back of the turret.

Theyve already proved that they would decompress air first by putting far more effort into actively decompressing it. Which is now being reversed.

ofc i agree , the game is compressed all the way through.

There is a massive distinction in capabilities of the mig21 MF than the F4C, youre also conviently forgetting this is now going to recompress the entire 9.3 area again.
so no im not “mad” , im objectively looking at the game become more compressed again.

Why the F15E has the same armaams as everyone else, and does just fine at its BR.
Or will this be another case like the F15A where it sat at 12.3 for no reason ?

Change for ground as well due to being insanely oppressive as a cas plane. (id remove all of them from GRB till tehy an be balanced fully)

I don’t want them to; at least not in their current configuration (with R-60s, that is). I want all the other top tier aircraft, including the Rafale, Eurofighters, and etc. to go up in BR as well. But I can’t post that all at once per the rules. You only saw that post, and I can’t post every single BR change I’m recommending all in one day and still get sleep. ;)

JF-17 facing MICA IRs with a small amount of cms:

I’d rather gaijin just move them up instead of making them even better. Gaijin refuses to decompress, and adding new+better weapons only makes compression worse.

I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if we get an F-22 at 15.0-15.7 at this point.

9.3s against mig21 MF again, J35D stomping on 8.3s, youve got the f16A about to demolish the 11.3 bracket entirely. all while the F14A sits above it xD
Get the F22 at bloody 14.3 no doubt.

F35 at 14.7

F-16A ADF (Italy)
Change: 12.7 → 13.3 ARB & 12.0 → 12.3 GRB

Give the Italian ADF it’s AMRAAMS already.

This was reported more than 8 months ago, yet the issue is still NOT fixed. The loadout the aircraft has currently, is a fantasy. Give it the historical loadout it had. So, AIM-120s and AIM-9Ls.

The lack of the AIM-9M and HMD justifies it being at 13.3 in my eyes, but if you think otherwise, let me know. If you have additional info regarding the kit of the aircraft, then let me know also so I could refine this post.

Bug report regarding the munitions that has been in “accepted” limbo for more than 8 months at this point: Community Bug Reporting System which is just ridicilous in my eyes.

So Gaijin, please fix.

J35D is 10.0 so its the J35A with the weaker engine trying to act like a starfighter at 9.3, tbf i rarely meet a competent J35A player so they’ll probably still be food for my mig 17

Realistically with the base ones gettibg R-73s and removing R-27ER I can see them balanced at 13.0. MiG-29G can keep R-27ERs and arguably get R-27ETs. SMT is fine, not bad but not great either.

apologies J35A to 9.3 while the D goes to 10.0

That is completely irrelevant to the plane is still far more than capable enough to be 9.7, why must it go to 9.3 and now cause further compression.

Mirage IIIE ought to be lowered to 10.3.

Would have been reasonable before but with MiG-21MF/SMT being lowered the case it is more than obvious.

The MiG-29G currently at 13.0 already has ETs, actually. But in general I agree. But my whole thing is not about the MiG-29s specifically, it’s about the entirety of top tier needing to be decompressed. I just have to make a post for every individual aircraft per the rules.

ARB
Tornado IDS ASSTA1, Tornado IDS(1995) and Tornado GR.1
11.7->11.3
Both of these tornados have the exact same performance in ARB as the other early tornados but they’re .4 higher for something that only helps them in a different mode.

Tu-14T
Change: 8.0 → 7.7 ARB

The Tu-14T is basically a worse IL-28. It really has no reason being at the same BR. Bumping it down to 7.7 would mean it wouldn’t have to face the 9.0 aircraft, thus, in general, giving it a more favorable matchmaker. Those worrying about 6.7 down-tiers, there aren’t that many 6.7s to begin with. Putting it down by 0.3 in my eyes isn’t that bad, as it quite literally is just a worse IL-28. And would make playing this thing a bit more tolerable.

I’m confused why it’s up there to begin with, in all fairness.
