The Hunter F.1 has strong guns and good nose authority. It also is a favourite of experienced players who played the vehicle when it was truly top dog, these factors have kept its BR too high for too long. The Hunter F.1 may have trumped the CL-13A, F-86F-2 and MiG-17 back in its day, but the meta has shifted since then, and the hunter is objectively worse than the three aforementioned vehicles. Manouevrability and low-speed acceleration are now more important than top-end SEP when facing against supersonics who stop the hunter being able to use its straight line strenghts. It deserves to be rejuvenated with an 8.7 BR.
Reasoning: Again, I’ve played this aircraft in Air RB well enough to say it’s a monster with airspawn, giving it an uncontested energy advantage. This aircraft could dominate every Air RB match with its ridiculously good flight performance, which allows it to hold its own against Bf-109Fs and XP-50s. It can easily intercept and destroy bombers, often outdoing other fighters, including the standard B7A2 with a weaker powerplant. You can even consistently net over 4 kills per match in this thing.
C1 Ariete (WAR)
11.7—>11.3 GRB
Reason: The Ariete at this day and age doesnt fit its current BR as the M1A2 is at the same br while being better in every way except for thermals. Along with one of the worst ammo layouts
Remove DM53 and the 5 second reload if need be.
C1 Ariete PSO
11.7—>11.3 GRB
Reason: The Ariete at this day and age doesnt fit its current BR as the M1A2 is at the same br while being better in every way except for thermals. Along with one of the worst ammo layouts
Remove DM53 and the 5 second reload if need be.
Ariete AMV
12.0—>11.3 GRB
Reason: The Ariete at this day and age doesnt fit its current BR as the Leopard 2A7s is at the same br while being better in every way. Along with one of the worst ammo layouts
Remove DM53 and the 5 second reload if need be.
M1A1
11.3–>11.3 Remove 5 second reload: The 5 second reload on this abrams makes the IPM1 all but useless since it has the same reload and way less firepower in comparison
IPM1
11.3 → 11.0 or → 11.3
Reason: Currently it shares its br with the now better M1A1 since the M1A1 got a reload buff to 5 seconds while retaining better firepower and having an equal reload. The IPM1 currently would fit better to the 11.0 bracket
or just remove the 5 second reload from the M1A1 specifically and keep it 11.3
Yep, agreed, none of the Abrams should have gotten 5 second reload. If they are going to use reload rate to balance tanks, then it should have kept 6 second reload like the Leopard 2A7s did
Yes, this patch famously moved almost exclusively the vehicles which didn’t need to be moved given their reasoning and almost exclusively forgot the ones that did.
Don’t let my suggestion deter you from making one @Morvran , the more suggestions on the same vehicle the better.
Yeah… Especially stupid when you look at Sim as well. The Hunter F6 (france) which has a better engine, better wing and 2x Aim-9Bs is the same BR as the Hunter F1. Whilst the J-34 a Hunter F4 (so Hunter F1 with more fuel) is 9.3!
Challenger 2
11.7—>11.3 GRB
Reason: The Challenger 2 at this day and age doesnt fit its current BR as the M1A2 is at the same br while being better in every way except for thermals.
buff to ready rack (Should happen regardless)
Or stay 11.7 with a potential reload buff again maybe :)
Challenger 2F
11.7—>11.3 GRB
Reason: The Challenger 2 at this day and age doesnt fit its current BR as the M1A2 is at the same br while being better in every way except for thermals. Also this variant is just more fat but still one of the better ones
buff to ready rack (Should happen regardless)
Or stay 11.7 with a potential reload buff again maybe :)
