If you had a choice to be sat in a western tank or a russian tank which would you choose?
I know which one i would rather be in, something about having my corpse sent a couple hundred meters in the air along with the turret doesn’t fill me with confidence.

the A6M5s (and on a lesser note the A7M2, but it is slightly better off due to having better engines) going to 6.0 is basically the final nail in the coffin for them. They were already slow planes at their previous BRs, hell they might even be on the slow side at a slightly lower BR too. Sure they can turn, but what use is the ability to turn if everything is faster than you? They can just run away. Also correct me if I’m wrong, 6.0 is the point at which you can start regularly seeing jets.
that does not seem to be the case. its a badly performing plane, even with 4x 30g low range missiles.

I mean, most players i see use this thing try and dog fight in it which isnt a great sign. I just think 4 missiles is a little excessive for 9.3 when they could have been kept with 2.
Although from memory they dont get flares which makes it a little better but still. 2 was more than enough.
I dont know if this scales properly but the swedes get 4 RB24s at 9.3, but im not sure if they are comparable to the R-60s, they seem closer to copies of the AIM-9B. Other notable nations with 4 missiles at this BR are the USA, the British, China and France, but again, all of these use AIM-9Bs so i’m not sure this comparison works

That is until you face the dreaded 4 stack of kv 1e players, where your stuck in a forever war alone as your team is picked off one by one while your having a staring competition with one as neither of you can kill one another frontally.
If you think western tanks are way more survivable than eastern ones you are wrong, if you hit both of them in the right place both will explode, each tank has the pros and cons, for battlefields like Ukraine the eastern tanks are better meanwhile in locations like Germany the Leopards are way better,
Now I’m no expert, but yes, I’m just gonna take the warthunder context, it is true the carousel autoloader is the worst thing that ever happened to crew survivability, and it isnt made any better by the fact that the LFP is super thin. I don’t remember exactly but wasn’t the design doctrine behind russian MBTs to assume flat terrain or hull down positions (LFP may also be thinner for cost reasons and compactness). Im not too sure what the NATO hump is for but my assumption, correct me if im wrong is I guess it isnt worth flattening the back if most of your engagements take place from the front or sides. I probably made a lot of mistakes but this is just how i see it.
Yea their plan was build 40.000 tanks and overrun the enemy so they sacrificed a lot of things to make them cheap, meanwhile Israel that doesn’t have a lot of manpower they build the Merkavas around the philosophy of crew survivability, and each tank it has a certain philosophy behind it making good in some fields bad in others, just saying Russian tanks suck it’s a poor statement

Reason:
As an anti-CAS aircraft in Ground RB, it lacks several key capabilities, such as a Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD), laser-guided munitions, and Fox 3 missiles.
In Air RB, the lack of Fox 3 missiles at BR 13.0 significantly limits the aircraft’s effectiveness. There are two reasonable ways to address this issue: either equip it with AIM-120A missiles or reduce its BR to 12.7, where it would have a much fairer chance against its opponents.
Being only 0.3 BR lower than the premium Su-30 is difficult to justify, as the Su-30 is vastly superior in nearly every aspect, including missile capability and overall combat performance.
All aircraft in Ground RB that don’t have laser‑guided, TV‑guided, or IR‑guided weapons shouldn’t be above 10.0. Some could even go lower so that you get a wider selection within the same BR range. Yes, some planes have 9Ls, but that doesn’t matter much in Ground RB. What people complain about the most are weapons that are fire‑and‑forget against tanks. IMO dumb rockets and bombs are harder to hit with, and you need to be closer to the battlefield to be effective.

Buccaneer S.2B going up? Maybe the plane performs well simply because it’s actually the only British aircraft with TV‑guided weapons in that BR range? Why should it be so much better than the American A‑7D, which has a much larger payload? At the same time, the Su‑25/25K goes down in BR even though they have laser‑guided weapons?
One should make sure that all nations have equivalent capability at each BR, even if that means some aircraft might need to be artificially nerfed.

the Wiesel is a SPAA without a fully traversable cannon that can be killed by .30 caliber mgs and most of the time is aginst the US, where every tank has a .50 cal.
XM800 is a light tank, thus it gets the ability to scout, has better mobility with a fully traversable turret with double the gun depression the Wiesel has, Its armor can hold against .30cals (you know like the ones on the german tanks) and it has dual control on the cannon due to an 3rd crew member.
So yeah, skill issue
