Reasoning:
TOW 2B is currently almost useless it does almost no damage just “Hit” which means CM25 is not much better than M113A1 TOW to be at higher br. Adding TOW 2A will justify br 8.7, at the same br we have german Jaguar 2 with ~800mm tandem atgm and thermal sight, soviet Shturm-s with ~800mm tandem atgm and thermal sight, french MEPHISTO with ~900 mm atgm.

F-14A IRAF - All BRs - Add Aim-9P-4. Having an aircraft at 13.0 or above without any all-aspect missiles is poor balancing. Adding this missile (which is an existing upgrade to the existing 9P’s) would add more options to the aircraft and possibly reduce the fox-3 spam.
USA aircraft can easily do the same to my Ho-Ri and a single bomb, while not being so slow and unmaneuverable they are free kills to fighters from much lower BRs.

in asb a good radar is a bigger advantage.
how are they better in grb? aphe cannons. its not that hard to figure out.
in air rb however, 8.0 is way too high.
Indeed, the amount of magic 2s is the strongest point of the jet, but I still think in a br bracket where all aircraft you face have better Fox-1 missiles as well as multiple jets that carry Fox-3, it doesn’t belong at 13.0. It might be somewhat strong for 12.7, but I feel like it’s slightly more balanced than keeping it at 13.0, where it’s mostly only able to compete in close-range fights with aircraft that gain nothing by risking it and therefore usually just keep their distance. ATP, getting the opportunity for a kill is more requiring than the actual fight. The best solution would be another BR decompression that separates jets from the era with Fox-1 from when Fox-3 starts appearing more frequently, but I doubt that’s going to happen in the near future.

Did they say that or are you assuming? 7.3 seems a bit much for it in my opinion. Maybe if the BRs get decompressed more then yeah
They said they had identified two performance outliers that should have gone up in BR: the Serienturm Tiger II and the T29. However they said they would not put them up in BR due to the popular reaction by the community which really wants these tanks to stay down (T29 change was planned and reverted, Tiger II didn’t even get that far).
Next thing you know, the Tiger II got hit with the engine nerf and the T29 got a reload nerf.
I very much doubt that this is coincidence.

revert the change for the vehicle to go down as it has 4 MCLOS missiles and theres no real AA to counter this vehicle at 7.0 let alone 7.3 that it already faces in a downtier

MCLOS missiles are “hard” to use, so not a lot of people use them
It’s annoying that stuff like this happens, but Gaijin doesn’t care about a couple of players exploiting the lower BR
