Reason: Both vehicles are absolutely absurd at their BR. They have better armor and survivability than MBT’s at their own BR, they have fantastic firepower for both surface to surface and surface to air engagements, they HEAVILY outclass all other IFV’s, and through preferential modelling have been rendered all but immune to the only thing that could theoretically kill them in hulldown positions (a perfectly placed shot to one of the 30mm belts causing a cookoff). They also have both redundent 30mm and ATGM launchers, and somehow not a dingle piece of fire control electronics in the turret, making it nearly impossible to incapacitate the vehicles firepower in a single shot, unlike functionally every single other ground vehicle in the game.
It is quite frankly ridiculous that another blatantly overpowered russian ground vehicle, much like the BMP-2M and 2s38 that preceeded it, is being passed up for a BR increase simply because the vehicle is wildly overplayed, keeping its stats a bit lower due to the consistently poor skill level of the average player spamming it out.
Both vehicles are the scourge of the ground battles matchmaker from 10.7+ and the less vehicles and players that are subjected to playing against these, the better.
Just to prove how insane the current BR placement is, it is currently possible (and with how much these vehicles are spammed out, quite likely) to fight the BMPT’s in the first M1. The one armed with the 105mm gun, firing M774 with sub 400mm of pen, that doesnt even have improved turret armor of every other M1 variant ingame…

I would use the Su-30SM2 as a better example since the GE can atleast use MCM tactics against the Rafale.

Reason: Having this aircraft, capable of carrying 4x Kosava 3 TM missile with 120km range and MITL guidance, making it quite literally impervious to all SPAA ingame if it so desires, at the low low BR or 10.7, is utterly insane. Place it at 11.7 where it can atleast face some semblence of resistance from the ground with the ADATS, FlaRakRad, and Type 81c, at MINIMUM. It’ll still outrange them all handedly if it decides to do so, but it utterly annihilates the balance at its current BR, to an unacceptable degree.
It doesnt even need to bring Kosava 3’s either, it can also bring GROM, GROM-B, or AGM-65B’s, all of which handedly outrange every SPAA below 11.7, all of which are faster than Kosava 3’s, and are all F&F munitions as well, in the event its not in a full uptier and wants to ruin a match faster and with a little less effort than with Kosava 3’s.

I think the Rafale is better personally. I’ll admit I don’t know a lot about the sm2.

Su-30MK2 and Su-30MKK: 13.3 > 13.7
Their performance is comparable to the Su-27SM and other 13.7s in many aspects overall, it may be slightly slower and have 2 less missiles but it’s egregious that it’s lower in BR than F-16AMs and F-16C

How do you know Rafale is better but don’t know much about the SM2? You face or play with SM2 a lot more at top tier, unless you don’t have top tier.
According to the stats the Rafale has a better K/D ratio and a higher WR than the sm2
Sm2 in a vacuum is likely the superior one, you have an insane gimbal on the radar, acceptable flight performance, enough missiles to iron dome the entire rafale loadout, and large caliber countermeasures.
I have top tier USA, Israel, Sweden and Germany. I’m not saying I’m good at the game but I have at least flown a lot of different vehicles.
Air AB, French F-100D and Chinese F-100A 9.7 > 9.3 : like the american one which is better thanks to its Aim9E and is 9.3 since years!
Ah, I see. You’ll have a disconnect of how to see things if you’re not playing toptier and try to look at the statistics from the perspective of someone who hasn’t faced any of the planes.
Air AB, American, Italian and French F-84F 9.0 > 8.7 : same BR as the israeli and german ones which are identical. Terrible flight performance for a 9.0 aircraft. This inconsistency is in the game since these vehicles were added!
Air AB, Mystere IVA 9.0 > 8.7 (France and Israel) : it has no IR missiles, no afterburner and worst aerodynamics compare to the Super Mystere B2 which is also 9.0. The 30mm canons are good but 8.0 F-86s have better flight performance and its energy retention is terrible. The comparison is even worse with a 8.3 Javelin or Scimitar which have better firepower AND flight caracteristics !
