Reasoning: While the aircraft possesses decent maneuverability and strong armament as its main strengths, it already had its BR bumped up in the last BR changes feedback. It’s outclassed by its fighter counterparts at its BR, so it doesn’t need any further BR increase. Revert this proposed BR change.
Vehicle: Hawk 200 Gamemode: ARB BR Change: move to 10.0 and 10.3 in GRB (with addition of AGM 65 D) Reason: flight performance for this BR is incredibly poor, so poor that the AIM-9L cant compensate to the point of having it as the same BR as f-5 fighters.
S.O.4050 Vautour IIN needs to be raised to 9.0 because it is currently sitting at 8.3 GRB and it is ridiculous. Not a single SPAA can fight it except the Chinese WZ with its proxy shell, but even then, it’s still stupid strong.
It’s a great day for apache players but I would rather have these apaches stay at their BR and have it’s hellfires fixed then moving it down to 11.3 and 11.7 respectively.
Don’t get me wrong, hellfire platforms are at best 11.3 but we’re just compressing 11.3 by a lot. What about helicopters like existing 11.3 helicopters like the Commanche or Yah-64? With the 64A going to 11.3, it doesn’t make sense to use the Yah-64 and probably the Commanche too.
I don’t really understand why the Ah-1z is staying at 12.0. Aim-9m is terrible on stationary platforms. It won’t have the range to reach anything unless it’s coming directly towards you which makes it a defensive weapon. Even then it can easily be flared. The stingers have the range and speed to hit targets farther away but it isn’t any better when it comes to hitting the targets.
If it’s because it has a MAW, the Seraph should also be 12.0 because it can have both stingers and a maw.
Vehicle: Su-27SM
Gamemode: Air Realistic
Br Change: 13.7 → 14.0
Reason: The main argument for the 13.3 flankers staying where they are.
This plane is the best 13.7 aircraft in the game. It is in fact, even stronger than every 14.0 plane when used by a skilled player.
It has a great flight model for air rb, the best missile kit up until 14.3 as well as very usable radar (MICA Mirage’s radar is arguably worse at 14.0 so that’s no reason to leave it at 13.7)
Defensive kit is also great, plenty of large caliber countermeasures and digital RWR.
It needs to go up in order for the 13.3 flankers to be balanced out
How is no one talking about the 50mm 262 going DOWN? I feel like I’m crazy. It shreds anything and is such an absolute pest. Air I understand but seriously now I have to see it at 5.3…there is no way this is actually going down. It’s an actual menace.
Vehicle: Hawk 200 RDA Gamemode: ARB BR Change: move to 10.3 with the allowance of carrying 4 skyflash missiles and the addition of AGM 65 D to replace 65B Reason: flight performance for this BR is incredibly poor and it doesnt have a gunpod, there is no reason why it should be higher than the foxbat. its generally an inferior plane to fly than the base hawk 200 and especially the 209, those themselves a very poor-performance aircraft for the BRs while sitting quite a bit lower.
Reason: Swingfire is not a SACLOS missile in real life. A pre-programmed “gather phase” guides the missile into the controller’s view after firing, and the missile is then manually guided using a joystick.
Striker was eventually upgraded to ACLOS guidance under the Swingfire with Improved Guidance (SWIG) program in 1990-95, but this is not the version seen in game. A late Striker could be added with a bespoke ACLOS guidance mechanic, or with SACLOS guidance as a placeholder.
Striker was part of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) family, a series of air-transportable light tanks which entered British and Belgian service in the 1970s. As such, Striker should be classified as a “light” tank destroyer and given Scouting, in a similar manner to other modern and semi-modern light or airborne TDs seen in game.
