Vehicle: R400
Mode: GRB
BR-Change: 9.7 → 9.3 [1]
or: No BR-Change but reload-time reduced from 6.7s to 6.0s [2]
(a picture in case y’all forgot how it looks because its already so irrelevant)
Justification:
The vehicle is extremely lackluster in comparison to other wheeled vehicles at the same (and lower) BR’s, such as the Rooikats, which feature significantly better mobility (power to weight ratio and 3x the reverse speed), gun-handling, elevation-angles (-10° vs -7°), with their sole downside being not having gen2 but gen1 thermals. (in case of MTTD, they’re even at a lower BR).
Type 16 for example is better than R400 in every singular way except gun-angles (gets -6° of depression instead of -7°), but has better thermals (gen 3 for BOTH crew + IRST autotracker), virtually same performance dart (17mm of pen difference, gg), a 12.7mm HMG, twice the ammo-capacity, same reload, better mobility and better gun-handling.
It’s essentially a fat wobbly brick that can’t move anywhere quickly enough, dies to HMG’s in certain spots frontally - and in any spot side-on, has poor ammo-capacity (20rds), mediocre gun-handling and elevation angles, just to get gen 2 thermals.
Imo, it should either be lowered in BR to 9.3 [1] or have it’s reload-time reduced to 6s in accordance to the maximum rate of fire of the TH 301 turret it uses (10rds/min) [2] to make it worth playing over literally anything else.
Spoiler: Excerpt from TH 301/A4 brochure for the above
As this plane keeps the low velocity Type 99 Model 1 cannons it is not worthy of being moved up, when considering that A6M3 Model 22 Ko has much better cannons and is more than fair at 5.0.
Change: Remove AGM-114B and replace with AGM-114K (atleast until we see AGM-114L)
Reason: The Comanche first flew 2 years after the AGM-114B left service. By the time it conducted munitions trials it certainly wouldn’t have fired it or even mounted it. It was planned to carry AGM-114K + if it was to enter service. Having it limited to AGM-114B is completely fictional. Also given that in-game it is lacking any of it’s countermeasures (M-130 dispensers, Radar & IR jammers) giving it access to AGM-114K will help with it’s performance.
Reasoning: This version of the Meteor is basically the same airframe as the Mk.8 G41K except it has worse engines and yet sits at the same BR. There is no reason for an objectively worse version of the same plane to be at the same BR.
It never gets flown anymore because of the MK.8 sitting in the same spot, so moving it to 7.7 would give it some room to be an alternative style of Meteor to the long wing Mk.4 G41F that already sits at 7.7. The trade off/ differences between them being ergonomics, energy retention and a small amount of top speed.
Vehicle: T26E5
Mode:RB
Change: 6.7 => 6.7
Reason:It doesn’t make sense for the T26E5 to be 7.0, it has a low penetration of 185MM, low acceleration/mobility against vehicles that will puncture it and have superior armor that will render it useless extremely easily
It is a perfectly serviceable SPAA, I have been playing it at 10.7 a lot recently, and it is still very good there It no longer suffers from its missile being terrible
Vehicle: KV-220 Gamemode: Ground Arcade BR Change: 6.3 → 6.0 Reason: The 220 being moved to 6.3 already put it in a rough spot in arcade, and now various vehicles with cannons that can easily pierce the 220’s armor even at perfect angling are being moved down, the 220 should move too
The E.B.R. (1954), even with it’s new shell it received sometimes ago, is too weak for 7.0. You struggle to pen most of your opponent even on the side, the gun is too weak for 7.0, especially that it often end up against 8.0. It should go back to 6.7 where it struggled already in the past, but that BR could be better now with the new shell. Right now there is no reason to use the the E.B.R. (1954) at 7.0 if you have the AMX-13, that do everything better.
Vehicle: Hunter F6 Gamemode: Air Realistic BR Change: 10.0 —> 9.7 Reason: It does not have the performance to compete at 10.0. It is barely good at 9.7, SRAAMs are still not that strong, it does not have CMs, it does not have a RWR, its a subsonic with a fairly slow rate of acceleration. It will be totally and completely DOA at 10.0 and unplayable. There is no justification for its BR to increase, especially if the Harriers which are superior in every respect are remaining at 9.7
Vehicle: All 12.3 tanks
Mode: Ground RB
Change: Give the same treatment as to the 12.7 tanks with adding the new stock shells also to them or at least offer these ones as an option to research at Rank I or Rank II
There is not a lot of difference between the AMX-32 and the AMX-32 (105) that is at 9.3. The only noticeable difference is the 120 mm gun instead of the 105 mm, a new shell that doesn’t pen much more, and some more horsepower. I don’t think all those make it 9.7 worthy, and it should go back to 9.3.
Vehicle: Ferdinand
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 6.7 → 6.7
remove modification “Improved Parts” since many vehicles on this BR can only disable its tracks and transmission, unfair to make it able to repair them in seconds
Vehicle: Jagdtiger

Vehicle: TKX(P) Gamemode: ground realistic/ ground sim BR Change: 12.0 → 11.7 Reason: 4 seconds reload isn’t as good as before with overall 5-5.5s reload of almost all topteir tanks. Shooting DM-33 against Relikt Armor since the buff isn’t effective at angle. For a hit to have a penetration, it needs to be way to close to a perfect 90°. Mobility is better only is straight lines, but bleeds speed so much while turning because of the transmission model, making it less mobile than other MBT’s.
It is very similar to A6M3 Model 22 but with greater speed loss in turns, making the Zero playstyle harder. Roll rate increase is not significant enough and at 4.0 it is a fun, but well balanced aircraft with obvious strengths and weaknesses.
