Well, well, well. If you don’t give good tutorials, and no incentive for players to learn dogfighting without their precious missiles, they will all be trapped to do only turnfighting. A style of fighting where the A6M5 reigns supreme, and can absolutely dominate the players who don’t learn energy and patience.
At 6.0 it will just be curb stomped by every semi-decent player.
And I get it, really, there’s so few of them, because slop-tier missile thunder is what’s cool, which will absolutely not be balanced out, or it would require actual skill, rather than just throwing out 12 Amraams and pulling the lever on the casino machine…
Vehicle: Su-30MK2(AMV) & MiG-29M(9-15)
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 12.3 —> 12.0 (both)
Reason: both lack thermal imaging for AGMs and are restricted to TV‑guided ordnance, which puts them at a clear disadvantage compared to other 12.3 aircraft(They are alomst blind!). Since the F/A‑18C(Early) was just moved down to 12.0, these two jets should logically share the same BR.
GRB
M247
9.0→10.0
I think the M247 is better than the LAV-AD, XM975, and other SAMs. However, it really depends on having the M822; without it, it’s pretty much the same as the ZSU-37-2—excluding the radar—so it’s a tough call. I wish they’d make it a system that dynamically adjusts the BR.
Vehicle: Mirage F1C-200
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 12.0 —> 11.3
Reason:This vehicle is completely unplayable at its current tier; it lacks a good radar and RWR, and its SARH missiles are terrible—with the exception of the Magic 2s, of which you can only carry two. The only way to be effective is to try to destroy a single base. It has absolutely no capability to face vehicles at its own tier or the tier above (13.0), as the survival rate against Fox-2 or Fox-3 missiles is practically zero. A rebalance of this vehicle is absolutely necessary.
well if premium su 30s go up and 27 sm, they can be 13.3.
they have hmd, irccm IRs and sheer missile count over all othert 13.3s (mostly f 16 adfs and mlus)
way better than being same br as gripen A…
Vehicle: Re.2005 serie 0
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR change: 6.3 → 5.7
What does this plane have at 6.3? Good turn radius, good ammo count, bad climbrate, bad turn rate, slow speed and compresses earlier than most planes that it can face. If this had the single best turn radius and turn rate at the br it is at we could say this plane has something to reliably work with, however at 6.0 the Spitfire LF Mk.IX has better turn radius and massively better power to weight ratio, also at 6.0 we have the Zeros that have much better turn radius and every other turn fighter will outclass the serie 0 in p/w meaning your only real chance to win a fight is to hope they do not climb optimally and do not go in any kind of sustained fight. Because of the compression, low top speed and lowish rip speed, the Re.2005 serie 0 will also not be able to exploit the rare occasions it has an energy advantage meaning that it has no real chance to engage other planes with better p/w and/or higher top speed. The only turnfighter that will lose to a Serie 0 is the Ta152 H, but has an airspawn and it’s 0.3 br lower (but the Ta152 will not compress that badly and has better rip speed and MER meaning it will be able to easily dive away).
To simply put it: the Serie 0 has no right to be at 6.3.
At 5.7 the Re.2005 serie 0 would still be one of the slowest and worse climbing fighters, but the gap between it and other fighters won’t be as big as at 6.3. If you still think the plane would be too strong at 5.7, I’d like to invite you to fly with the Spitfire Mk.IX: that plane as a remarkably similar flight model to the Re.2005 at 4.7 (with this br changes). I don’t see how the Re.2005 being 5.7 could break the game if the (virtually) identical plane doesn’t do that one whole br step below.
shouldn’t even be at 9.0 but still dosent make the point moot as theirs more annoying CAS aircraft at 11.7 than even that thing and gameplay is different
