increasing BR of the zeroes is insane, literally NO A6M should be above 5.0, and maybe even lower I’d argue.
There is a hard cap of 13.0 for planes without Fox-3s
We need decompression so that hard cap can go higher
Then they go up
arguing for compression (moving vehicles down in br) will not fix anything, just make it worse
shouldn’t even be at 9.0 but still dosent make the point moot as theirs more annoying CAS aircraft at 11.7 than even that thing and gameplay is different
Didnt say that tho?
Only said those stats are skewed by arb which is shown with a10c - most obvious example. Seems like assumptions are your speciality given you dont even own a6e.
It has its advantages and drawbacks. Also its not just laser its tpod with thermals and huge fov which lets you guide missile while going away from aa. Also it doesnt suffer from tickrate and lod bugs which happen to mitl munitions. You would know that if you ever played mitl carrier or tram.
Didnt say so, only stated that players dont bother thinking and get killed easily.
And su25t cant output multiple kills as quick as f4e, doesnt stop it from being one of strongest 11.3 ground pounders.
That explains a lot. Then bring Corb here so I can speak with him, person who actually plays those planes. Instead of making assumptions.
A7m1 has gone from 5.0 to 5.7 in 2 updates… wild
Vehicle: JA37D
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 12.0 —> 11.7
Reason: directly comparible to the MiG23 MLD with 2FOX1s + 4all-aspect FOX2s loadout. The Viggen has better radar and better IR missiles yet losing to the MiG on RWR and SARH missiles, while the two having comparible airframes (faster and more powerful MiG versus a more nimble Viggen). There is no reason the Viggen has its BR one step higher.

Q-5L
10.0 > 10.0
Give him A2A Missiles
Yeah exactly. Why does the E5 need to go to 7.0? It would make sense if they did decomp - but the E5 has no reason to fight 8.0 tanks at all. Zero.
Good afternoon, please consider increasing the maximum BR in ARB to 15.0. Recent changes to the game and the addition of new vehicles necessitate a new level of top BR, as BRs from 14.0 to 13.0 are very compressed.
From my point of view BRs:
15.0 - Eurofighter Typhoon AESA, Rafale (all), Su30SM2
14.7 - Gripen E, non - aesa euroifghters, F-15C Golden eagle, J15T
14.3 - F/A-18E/F, Su30SM/MKM, Mirage 2000 5F/Ei, J10C
14.0 - F15E/I, F/A-18C/D late (all variants), Su27SM, J11B, J10A
13.7 - F15’s (MSIP, Baz, JM), F16 C barak/US C block 50/AM (Belgian), F2A, Su30AMV/MKK, F16I sufa, J11A, Mig29M/41, F14A IRN
13.3 - F16ADF (US ADF)/(JP OCU)/(CN MLU)/(NOR AM), F16D Barak Block 40, JF17, Mig29N/SMT
13.0 and below - No changes
I hope my proposal will be considered; there are a lot of aircraft, and decompression is necessary.
Aircraft like the Mig29N and Su-30MKK should not share the same battle rating, these aircraft are nautical miles apart in terms of performance. Although my opinion is based on my personal experience in the game. I tried to cover as many aircraft as possible, however I could have missed a few, I hope not too many though. I don’t expect these changes to be implemented as is in this post, but I hope the development team sees the need for them and will work towards them. I believe that being able to play comfortably with the aircraft you like is a desire of every player in this game, and making in-game balance better should help realize this desire. That’s all folks.

Bf 109 K-4
5.7→5.3
Its performance falls short compared to the other 5.7 models
J-15T should be 14.3
J-15T could possibly go down idk
Although we should honestly just decompress to 15.3 already
Gaijin has already said no decompression so why keep saying its a bad idea for jets to be moved ?
If theres stronger vics already at tne BR its a non issue
It’s crazy they didnt up the ground br range at all…
Vehicle: la 7 4.7-- 5.0
Reason: probably best all rounder 4.7. since fm buffs and everying else moving up its should follow the curve as well
“without M822, it’s pretty much the same as the ZSU-37-2”
no its much worse when it doesnt have the hevt, the rounds go much slower and have more drag and slowerfirerate.
but i agree its really strong currently at 9.0 thanks to proxy. 10.0 is overkill, raise it to 9.3 first.
IRIAF is not any better than the F-14B/D
shouldn’t be 13.7 tbh
Z-19/Z-19E
11.7→11.3 or Dont need more BA-9 slot , keep 11.3
Compared to the Hellfire, the BA-9 has a slower flight time, a shorter effective range, and deals less damage upon impact.
It is unrealistic for the Z-19 series to carry 16 BA-9s, as this would result in a downgrade from the Apache.
The essence of Chinese helicopters lies in the TY-90, and due to slot limitations, the Z-19 series will effectively receive only four BA-9s in this update.
Therefore, rather than becoming easy prey for those dreadful ARH SAMs that launch FaFs at speeds exceeding 1,000 meters per second just for these “mere” four missiles, this update is nothing short of a nuisance.
Vehicle: Bf 109 G-10
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 5.7 —> 5.3
Reason: Worse in every way than the Bf 109 K-4. Low play count.
Vehicle: Bf 109 G-14
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 5.3 —> 5.0
Reason: Low perfomance. Only a 0.3 BR lower than a much better Bf 109 K-4.
These two changes combined give a clear progression to the G-6 → G-14 → G-10 → K-4 line up in both perfomance and gameplay.
Overall this set of battle rating changes is further proof that using “statistics” to balance does not work.
The vast majority of these changes is just further killing already over-br’d US vehicles while you continuously lower the most broken overpowered German tanks because they seemingly “perform poorly”.
You move up vehicles that dont need to be (nor should be) moved up, a good portion of those vehicles shouldn’t even be as high in BR as they are NOW, and you’re moving them up even more. You look at stats and think that’s the end all be all but you clearly have no understanding of whats actually going on in game. The fact that you are looking to move up the T20, a tank that is nothing more than a short 76mm Sherman with a decent reverse gear, which sits at 6.3; a BR where 90mm US guns should be the minimum caliber unless APDS or HEAT is available. It belongs at 5.7, why is it even at 6.3 beyond statistics? Have you considered the fact that you’ve under-br’d German vehicles so much that those players never learn to pay attention or aim, because their tanks are so low that up to this point they have never had to pay attention or aim in order to “win”? The reason the T20 does well is because the enemies it faces are unobservant and incompetent due to YOUR extremely poor balancing decisions over the past 10 years. A 76mm is a terrible gun, regardless of the chassis its on, above 5.7 without APDS.
There should not be a single US 76mm tank above 5.7BR without APDS, even at 5.7 the US 90mm should start to be the standard, and by 6.0 it should be on every single tank. The T20 should be 5.7, the Super hellcat should be 5.7 or 6.0 MAXIMUM, and the 76mm Jumbo has no business being above 5.7 either. You’re also once again moving Tiger IIs down, the literal point and click adventure tank, that with the recent armor and module changes has made it nearly impossible for a 76mm to kill frontally due to the gunners optic eating entire shells. These arent the only bad changes, but I’m not going to list them all off.
But just realize, this set of changes once again comes across as you all saying “F*** USA!” killing off more and more of its already over-br’d lineups and vehicles every update as you sit and bottle feed Germany, while holding Russias hand as well every update and balance change. Not to mention the mistreatment other nations tend to get.
These changes are doing anything but “balance”, stop using statistics, you guys clearly cannot properly interpret the information it provides. The game “balance” you’ve created is the result of a never ending cycle of bad feedback loops that are skewing the stats to begin with. Keep making Germany egregiously easier and easier to play and you’ll continue getting Germany players that die in a King Tiger to a 76mm because they are so used to being able to hold W and point and click to win because theyve never had to learn otherwise. The reason US vehicles are so over-performing is because US players have to learn to play like rats because their vehicles are comparatively sub-par (due to poor BR balancing!!) so they end up becoming very good players, while you have German players never having to learn much of anything besides panic when you non-pen for once and complain when you die to something rather than learn to pay attention and learn how to aim. You have CREATED the unskilled German players, that make everyone elses stats artificially higher; everyone but Germany from the beginning, has to learn to aim and be aware of positioning.
You have to learn to compare vehicles, not just look at stats. You need to play them, even if you play the vehicle itself you also need to pay attention to the behaviors of other players because it gives a good look into what that tree they’re playing is teaching. You’ll quickly see that a lot of the changes you’ve made are bad because the vehicles arent the problem, the players are. There is no reason why vehicles should be shifting around in BR update after update if you balanced properly. Ideally they shouldn’t need to move at all unless you’ve made one of your MANY mistakes. Every vehicle has a BR it belongs at and shouldnt have to be moved from.
Part of the main problem too is that the Matchmaker BR range is too large. Reduce it to +/- 0.7 or +/-0.4 BR. Seeing things a whole BR above or below is too large of a difference. “Queue times would be longer” is not an excuse, you all at Gaijin have full control of queue times, theyre only longer if you make them longer.
Do better. Stop killing the game, stop using statistical balancing, it doesnt work; not all statistics mean something needs to be changed. Lower the matchmaking BR range. Make the right steps. Lowering Matchmaker BR range would at the very least instantaneously make the game balance better across the board and make your changes easier, and less terrible when they are because they change less around them.
+/-1.0 MM = Balancing with a sledgehammer
+/-0.7 MM = Balancing with a chefs knife
+/-0.4 MM = Balancing with a scalpel
(complete removal of uptiers and downtiers would be bad for the game for a multitude of reasons, which is why its not suggested)
