I’d have loved to see ARM’s also get available earlier, at least the early F/A-18C’s, but also for example A-7E should have the HARM.

A-6E would have been nice, but it’s the TRAM, not the SWIP sadly, so no HARM’s and no Mavericks and Walleyes… = /

The MAR-1 used by the brazilian AMX was also used on the JF-17

The USA F-4E and Israeli counterparts are also missing their 4 AGM-45 Shrikes, AGM-88 HARM’s and AGM-78’s.

According to BW themselves IDS variant was/is able to use HARMs so the german ASSTA1/3 should be capable of having it. SLE upgrade was initiated in 2021 and i found a picture from 2019 predating the upgrade program with an IDS with HARMs on RIAT 2019 equipped on the underbelly.

Logically the ASSTA3 Tornado should get the AGM88B (tho ingame ive only seen As or Cs so probably one of them instead).

Its probably the same reason they denied ALARM for the GR1. To keep it at 11.3 in GRB. Which like Britain, is idiotic because they ahve no 11.3 vehicles and it can easily join the RET8 at 11.7 with 2-4 AGM-88

Which makes no sense as Su24M and Su25T/39 both feature ARMs and share the exact same BR of 11.3

also germany doesnt have anything between 11.0 and 11.7, and even then its Puma VJTF at 11.0 and Flarakrad at 11.7. No MBTs as those go from 10.7 to 12.3.
SLE and GR4 even with HARMs and ALARM have to go down in BR to 12.0. The fact that russian Mig29K, 29SMT, 29M and 27MK2 all have access to ARMs at 12.3 while having a much better A2A capability with a radar and ARHs and A2G with Kh29s is just stupid beyond measure.

Did you make a bug report

No point anymore. I was gonna but:

Yeah, its stupid. But when has Gaijin ever actually balanced something properly

JF-17 missing LD-10
Tornado IDS/SLE missing ARMIGER

Not sure about the su 24, but su 39 struggles to employ the weapon. It’s just too glacially slow lol

Though if it meant getting ARMs on GR1, I’d be happy with su 39 going to 11.7

F15E (and probably A/C) could get HARM as there are at least some photos showing it being tested

AV-8 report exists:

[DEV] AV-8C missing AGM-122 Sidearm

Well if it’s a balancing decision as @Smin1080p_WT states, on one hand understand (because of ground battles…), on the other hand ARM’s would have been a weapon of choice to counter enemy AI air defense in Sim EC.

There air defense is particularly powerful from 10.7 onwards, and ARM’s would help a lot. At the BR’s where the ARM’s are not becoming available, aircraft have other options (stand off weapons) toattack those powerful SAMs, so the ARM’s don’t really provide a significant improvement…

But as to GB, I’m sure it could be dome im a way that ARM’s can not be used below a defined BR, for example.

Unfortunately, having tested it, ARMs do not help a lot against more threatening air defences. The interception rate is ~100%.
