- Yes. Cancel it.
- No. Keep those BR changes.
Here are a few examples of how these changes completely ruin attack aircrafts:
-
A-4N Ayit — it now faces the Type 81 (C) and the Tor-M1. This is entirely unfair and nonsensical; the aircraft stands no chance whatsoever against such SAM systems.
-
A-7E — they are now pitted against the ItO-90, Tan-SAM Kai, CS/SA5, Elde 98, FK-2000, Pantsir-S1, and NOMADS. What are you even thinking?! This is a Vietnam War-era jet, armed only with Walleye guided bombs and Shrike anti-radiation missiles. There are already perfectly adequate counters for it in the form of existing SAM systems. This aircraft has no chance against a Pantsir-S1.
-
A-10A Late - same as A-7E but even slower.
-
F-4E — it can now encounter the Buk, NASAMS 3, SPYDER, and Type 03. Its BR is only 0.3 lower than that of the Pantsir-S1. The Phantom II should never even cross paths with a Pantsir—they belong to completely different tiers of technology.
-
F-4E AUP — it sits at the same BR as the Pantsir-SM-SV. Are we to believe that an F-4E is equivalent to a Pantsir-SM-SV? This is a 3rd-generation jet armed with six Mavericks and two Shrikes. In the current environment, it is impossible to win a 1v1 duel against a competent player using a Pantsir-SM-SV—even if you are flying the best strike aircraft in the game, such as the Su-30, EF, or Rafale. How, then, are you supposed to play against it in a Phantom?
These are just a few examples that immediately come to mind; I primarily play American aircraft and am well-versed in their capabilities. And yes, I’ve played USSR as well.

Simply revert this change to the BR entirely. (Poll)

Adjust the Battle Ratings for anti-aircraft systems in the same way you did for strike aircraft—increase their BR by 0.6–0.7 to maintain overall balance. Specifically, the BR for the Pantsir-S1 and FK-2000 should be raised significantly. These are top-tier assets that have no business facing anything other than the most effective strike aircraft in the game (for example, the F-4, A-7, or the Su-25 family—excluding, of course, variants equipped with Kh-38 missiles shouldnt be able to face those SPAA’s). Furthermore, the Buk SAM system should be moved to 13.3 BR; it is the only system with ARH missiles capable of destroying a jet aircraft even in multipath, thanks to its powerful warhead.
-
20-second invulnerability period for anti-aircraft systems;
-
Free SPAA’s for everyone;
-
Free backups;
-
Crazy difference in SP costs (70 vs 1000+);
-
Poor weather conditions (only affecting jets for some reasons);
-
Ability of SPAA’s radars to lock through the trees, while jets cant even see its target behind them);
-
maps without any cover for surprise attack.
It is clear that a player utilizing CAS often holds an advantage over a standard “tanker,” given that they must perform 3–4 successful kills to earn the opportunity to take to the skies (this excludes low-tier gameplay, where aircraft can be accessed simply by capturing a point and assisting in a kill). Gaijin should stop penalizing players for their skill. War Thunder is arguably the only game where a killstreak — actually puts you at a disadvantage. Stop killing a significant portion of the player base - the pilots!

- This topic concerns GRB (Ground Realistic Battles).
- Opinions from individuals who are not knowledgeable about this subject will not be taken into account (only playing tanks while refusing to spawn spaa, having 0.5 K/D in jets/spaa’s, only having one nation unlocked etc.)
