People will still 1 death leave. The issue was never repair costs

turms has no gun depression so can’t play meta pos

it loses kill stat potential stat because of air way more than 2d. no mortar, no lws

your stats in 2d and turms are about the same level of negative. my 2D is through the roof in comparison, not even same galaxy, feel free to browse

I max at 3 spawns literally don’t die enough for more. But by the time I die my 1st time I can tell the game is lost (17-20 min remaining, game start at 24) so there is literally no point respawning when my team is complete garbage.

Kills and KPB absolute is most important. Spawn trap is power in this game. CAPS are a complete joke in this game.

Your team may cap 3 bases at start but enemy just kill farms your team and caps them back, it takes forever for tickets to be worth anything.

yeah i can relate.

People will just leave after 1st death because they want to. There is no real way to make people not do that.

I prefer a guy who leaves after 1st death over a guy who dies many times without doing anything and only feeds enemy more SP.

Vehicles of such players should simply be frozen for 20 minutes after they left the game

What does participating in Chat have to do with anything? I have Chat always turned off.

He is presuming lack of chat means afk players/bots or something like that. Though it is down to many other reasons like language, chat off, etc.

ODL will still happen regardless of what is done. However, making the game more worthy to play will decrease the chances of ODL, while punishing the playerbase further will lead to people uninstalling the game.

The economy is seeing some much needed positive changes.
Stock syndrome is getting some relief.

However, map designs are still terrible.
Mode designs are still terrible.
BR compression still exists.
Both spaghetti and Russian Bias coding still exists.
Selling top tier premiums to FNGs still exists.

There’s a long road ahead in regards to improving the game. Since the well-deserved lashing Gaijin recieved they seem to finally understand that pulling their head out of the sand is both required and necessary. There’s still much to be done, and some of what I mentioned is on their roadmap. Time will tell how things go.

1 death leaving is not profitable.
keep telling yourself that though, you ruin it for the rest of us and i doubt you did anything smart or meaningful in your 1 vehicle prior to your death, like most.

because unless you are utterly useless, you can spawn again and earn more…
1 death leaving is to put all your potential gains into 1 life - you may die before you do anything of real purpose, happens to me, have a bad start and die - but i respawn and make up for that bad start, every single time.

heck - for my Britain lineup, i use 2x spaa and i have backups on them both. not mentioning all the tanks etc and an aircraft.

If i cannot do anything or make money with my lineups and multiple respawns then i have really messed up somewhere…

To consolidate either a victory, personal success or profitability under YOUR 1-time performance, in the space of a couple of minutes with 1 vehicle is silly.
Respawn and engage the enemy again, you have the vehicles and sometimes you just have a bad start, doesnt mean game is over or there is nothing more you can do or even that all chance of earning sl is gone. get back in there, help get the win, get more kills and get that +100% sl for winning.

The only real use for 1 death leaving is to spade out a vehicle quickly - but again - at the cost of a victory and at the cost of abandoning your team.

And honestly - you may profit from 1 death leaving, but that does not say much. You can profit just by getting shot at and dying and not much else… just obv not alot.

essentially your missing out on the potential of more kills, more caps, a win that gives extra 100%SL AND your missing out on a potentially good match and leaving your team in the shitter.

Think of this: The majority of games of which your team wins - - you have had little to no contribution to that win because you bailed - your just benefitting from that +100% SL whilst offering nothing to help achieve it.
A percentage of wins that YOU have - are wins because your team made it happen, you didnt help and you’re riding off the back of you’re team’s success and effort- think about that. we stayed and fought and got the win, you got a critical hit, died then left - thankyou for your contribution sir.
I see more tenacity with rank 1 players than 1 death leavers.

Somehow you’re right but also terribly wrong. You keep situating yourself in an ideal world when nothing wrong happens …

I’ll continue leaving after one death when the ennemy is spawncamping and there is nothing you can do except dying.
I’ll continue ODL when my shell gets absorbed by the volumeshit armour when it definitely should have pen.
I’ll aslo continue when CAS is buzzing around everywhere and I happen to drive a tank that has no way to defend itself.
To make it short : I’ll ODL everytime I don’t have fun while playing the game, which is what it was made for.

There are multiple reasons to ODL and it’s not because you ban me or my tanks that I’ll stop. Just fix the damn game, make it fun to play.

I can understand the spawncamping thing however the rest of what you said can be combatted.

Use spaa- dont wait until its too late to bring it out, plan ahead - you know there will be aircraft - and dont drive onto frontline with it.

the tank rounds - shit happens - in reality even a slight angle or slightly -inaccurate shot placement can cause richochet - in the case of simply not penning - i get its frustrating when you feel you should have - but dont throw your toys out of the pram on the basis of not winning that 1 particular engagement, go back out there and make up for that death.

There are MULTIPLE people in any match - you cant please everyone all the time and cater to everyones specific needs.
If we had it everyones way - we would click “to battle” and then a screen would pop up instantly saying “mission accomplished, well done, heres your silver lions and here is your xp” and that would be it, everyone has 100+ kills 500k sl every match etc etc.

I know its just a game and we all want to have fun but it is a MULTIPLAYER game with multiple people - consider a perspective outside of your immediate needs/desires and utilise that knowledge and foresight.

I could easily grab a Tiger II and yolo drive right into the frontline with my only intention of getting kills and then leaving - but i wouldnt be able to make it work all the time and it would be a waste of the vehicles i worked hard to unlock, spade and master.

Upper frontal plate of t44 for example - bloody ridiculous - i might die from not penning him - i get frustrated, but i have more vehicles and i am not so easily defeated, a single death is not enough to deter me and make me give up, especially when i have the potential of more kills, more rewards and to help my team get the big W.

You don’t get more SL/RP because You stay in battle. Not to mention that for me SL/RP doesn’t mean anything.

For me the thing that matters is to get as many kills as I can. Spawning again mostly means that there already is less enemies that I can kill and that there are going to be air vechicles which can kill me without me being able to defend myself.

If I want to go for wins, I would always squad with people and just win games with 3 friends. Winning while playing alone is much harder and doesn’t bring as much fun as just casually playing.

Not entirely true as for premium vehicles its more profitable to ODL. For example Obj 120 has repair costs 1900SL. For 2 kills I get 12k SL. So if I get killed after that, everything else I spawn is more expensive to repair and I get less SL for kill since its not premium vehicle. Thus loads of ODLs are connected to premium vehicle. Either players don’t have anything else or they don’t want loose SL because other vehicles cost more to repair.

You can earn more if you spawn again and win but you can also earn less if you spawn again and loose.

ok, well you do get more rewards based on time in battle in conjunction with activity over that period…
so you do.

Killing the enemy is always good ofc - but going just for kills in 1 life is rather 1 dimensional imo.

With the amount of battles you have - you have the ability to turn the tide of battle.

Aircraft are a problem for you because you dont use spaa - how can you hold it against the team for not doing stuff when your not even doing it yourself…

you leaving could well be the reason the match was lost. consider that. that 100% reward boost gone.

dont be selfish mate, ther are lots of new players out there or bad connection or young or bad at the game etc etc - and your bailing after 1 death? with the amount of battles you have? come on man.

If you have ever been on my team - you can thank me for that win and i am ecstatic you got your 4 measly kills… you feel me?
