So, a couple of years ago the devs changed the repair mechanics to be cheaper… but I have recently noticed my plane getting full cost repairs, even though I know for the fact I was not in the battle for longer than 3 minutes, also all my deaths were fairly awarded to the enemies who killed me and no time penalties were put onto my crew, I just J-out before hitting the ground to “save” my pilot
How come in such cases I am STILL reliably getting full repair costs? This is an idiotic, anti-player mechanic, the plane is DESTROYED, it’s just pilot is still alive! It’s an obscure method of charging players full price of repairs!

I think it’s because J’ing out for cheaper repairs could be abused somehow, or just because you have control over killing yourself? Honestly it doesn’t make sense considering if my plane is unflyable I’ll just point my curser down and blow up the plane(which is smh cheaper :/)
