The PZIV H and J version are easy to kill by tanks that know the weakness and the flat frontal armor is not bounce off a lot of shell like VK 3002 (M) or the T-34 747 (R). I encounter PZ IV H version in my 5.7-6.0 battles and these things are totall joke because the shots only wounded my Tiger/Panther driver/operator. The PZ IV H/J tank is only good against noobs or in 4.7-5.0 battles.

Not that far and certainly not for the J with its hand-cranked turret- it’s basically just an M10 with a roof. 3.7 is the correct BR. But yeah the H should be probably 4.3, and the G 3.7.

M4A1 76 is far better than all Pz IVs and it’s 5.0, so no.

you had the skill to but if we compare the stat of this tank to other tank around the same rank as it… They are pretty much similar if we put them on such a high BR it not gonna perform well in long term.

I have played them a few times in a 4.7 squad and good god they still do incredibly well in a 5.7 uptier. going over to APHE from solid shot on the tanks i use the most is a genuine shock in how comically easy it is to kill tanks, genuine baby mode gameplay
theres one very obese elephant in the room thats the reason why they arent around the 4.7 mark:
the average germany player at that BR. They are new, maybe a couple weeks since first installing and therefore have no idea how to play a tank game and are close to getting that sweet sweet treat in the Tiger H1. they get hammered by the russian T34s, early shermans and somehow even low tier swedish, japanese and british tanks even though they are all objectivley inferior in all relevent ways other than the mk1 eyeball and mk2 eardrum

No, they really ought not to be. The H’s max BR should be 4.0 or 4.3 max with me thinking 4.0 is far more fair for all involved.

Its objectivley superior to the generic medium the americans have at the same br in every aspect, while having a gun with similar pen to the tigers 88mm and a 29G TNT yeild that acts more like a 100g TNT yield
Overall its a doppelganger to the sherman firefly of 4.7 in armour, firepower and mobility
in other words, firefly to 3.7

No, it isn’t.
Stabilizer is massive improvement and borderline is enough alone to make the tank competitive. That said, the M4 also has good mobility and good frontal armor…

the sherman “quick stop” stabiliser is not that big of a deal, its not hard to shoot on the move with such slow tanks, all i smell is skill issue

Well, panthers are also op, i have so much fun in the panther D and the Vk, they are just freaking beast for their br, 192mm of apcb with he load,good frontal armour and good mobility,but bad reverse and weak sides
Try use it at 6.7 or 7.7, i also got a nuke in the M4a2 76w vs 8.7-9.0 tanks without problems, sometimes is not the tanks that are bad, is more about who is using the tank
Well u have a stabilized gun,u are right,but u miss something,panzer IV have better armour, aaaand lower profile + good depression compared to the big profile of the sherman (i am US main, u can check on my profile) but i also play germany,japan,france,italy, a lot of nations, i have almost every nation atleast at 7.7 or 6.7 so i think that i know what im saying, panzer IV could be perfectly a 6.0 tanks (With its cannon you can eliminate a Pershing frontally with a single shot if you know where to shoot)
