They should just make CAS spawn on airfields at that point
That certainly is an option. Though even then, they could do with being much further away, to give time for aircraft to get airborune and climb if they want and to add multiple AFs to mitigate spawn campers
The Pantsir itself is the only SPAA capable of engaging targets 10-20KM, which is the current range of guided munitions.

If anything, what they need to do is to add Pantsir equals to EVERY nation.
I am sick of dying to OP space shuttle CAS 8 out of 10 times in Top Tier and not even having fully adequate tools for the actual ground players to be safe from it at all times.
Also, no artificial nerfs.
Not to mention, also, that, while Pantsir is good, it also has its own weaknesses/faults, such as a really unstable radar that keeps locking into the sky/flares/chaff with ease.

- There is quite often nothing that you can do vs Pantsir. No issue with a challenge, but there is a challenge and then there is fighting that
and to be honest. not all nations can reliably outrange the pantsir either. Only the soviets have an AGM that can actually outrange it reliably and consistantly

They can’t add Pantsir equivalents to the other nations, since the other nations don’t have any. Nerfing the Pantsir would allow the other nations to use fighters to combat CAS more succesfully however
Yeah, I was in the Gripen, Performing CAP. Dogfighting something well outside the map, I think a good 10-15km away from the objectives. So im pulling High-G turns, I thought I was well out of range and still got hit,
As you can see in the videos I posted the AGM65G can be fired ~13KM. Well outside the range of ALL SPAAs except the Pantsir, and the Pantsir’s mobility past 10KM is greatly reduced.
Having the same experience with the Phantoms and Tornado F.3, can’t engage enemy CAS if I can’t approach the battlefield
This doesn’t change the fundamental imbalance presented by current CAS weaponry outranging SPAA systems found ingame. That’s assuming no further CAS weaponry is added, and with Gaijin adding 20KM ranged laser guided muntions I’m sure they’re looking to add more.
AGM-65s sometime have a range of 13km. I find it can vary from map to map at times. But 13km is well within the 20 or so KM killradius of a Pantsir. KH-38 has a range of what, 30 or 40kms.
Equal AGMs could easily be given to other nations, but they were all denied as being “OP”

In some aircraft, like the Tornado. If a Pantsir fires at you the moment you spawn, you are dead. There is nothing you can do about it, and that is not fair.

You have the option to spawn at the airfield, a function that should be forced on all planes in GRB.
There is missile travel time, if your RWR is pinged you should evade. You should evade immediately anyway as flying in a straight line at 5KM alt is too low and an easy kill even for systems like the Roland.
Pantsir does not ping most RWRs, only 2 I know of is the Gripen and Su-25SM3.
Tornado for example, cannot, detect pantsir lock or launch. At all
Doesnt work. Pulling hard G turn and flying away from the battlefield, whilst trying to evade, does not provide suffecient defence for a Pantsir. I tried last night multiple times and was shot down every single time. Only chance maybe is to dive towards the ground and pull out of the dive as late as you dare, but the moment you try to climb again to deploy PGMs or GBUs, you are dead.
The main buff for the Tornado that might help is our missing 1200 chaff. Being able to dump a load of chaff the moment you spawn might buy you a few more seconds. But probably not enough,
You do get a directional indicator for the Pantsir on the Tornado, nothing else though and PGMs sadly tend to not lock on ranges above 10km
