I’m still waiting for replacement for Tiger II 105, Maus and our poor Panther II. And there is more gaps.
At least we could have realistic Panther II or even Leopard prototypes (maybe all of them) but for heavy tanks its more complicated.
As for me I wouldn’t mind some funny tanks that weren’t build but I know many players don’t want this, especially when they think fake, paper, and unfinished prototype are same thing.

does this panther 2 have an upgraded engine?
i assume you are refering to the suggestion, in which case it was mounted with the HL230 as an interim test intallation but it was always supposed to mount the 234 and the GT101 (gas turbine) was planned for it as well.
so yes. it did have an upgraded engine.
imo, it should come stock with the 234 and the GT101 should be an engine mod.

Let me guess: leopard 1 prototype with 90mm cannon and spähpanzer SP 1 C.
The M41 GTI with stab and heat would be nice at 7.3 aswell but for some reason they didnt put the suggestion in germany despite it being trialed by mutliple nations and not one bought it

I would rather see this as separate Panther since engine deck and rear plate would be different, also stats would be too different.
But what I would give for Panther II or Tiger II/Jagdtiger with GT101.

What is/are the other ones? The ones I mentioned are the only ones I could think of in the 7.0 area which arent suggested yet (at least on the new forum). Fuchs with the cannon on top could be at 7.0 aswell
Honestly i would personally want a twin 55mm coelian as well but ik how much people will cry as well as gaijin wont really think of it as real.
On the other hand, we can definitely try to have wildcat as the 7.0 spaa since it has no tracking radar.
Or maybe a that gepard competitor with the dual hispanos.

Eh, I think it should have the HL230 considering that’s what was mounted. The others should be separate vehicles IMO.
If we maintain consistency (ik so hard (wink wink gaijin)) then prototypes are aimed to be introduced in their planned maximaum configuration.
I.e. service configuration.
Hence it should be the 234 since the 230 was not planned at all.
Only used to trial the hull.

I think the issue is - if we’re using the Panther II chassis being built to get past the partial prototype category in order to get one of the planned turrets I think we have to use the fitted HL230.
Don’t get me wrong, I am highly supportive of this suggestion. As you can see from all my comments above.

I just was aiming to have the best version of it and since the 230 wasnt ever actually planned for it i supposed it would be… good to have the 234 or 101
