Current Ho-Ri shouldn’t be in the game in the first place because it was just a wood mockup.
The real Ho-Ri had 5 examples partially built:

No, there were 5 Ho-Ris partially built by war’s end. O-I was also built and even driven.
Ka-To’s gun was also slightly different and a mostly separate development.

Would love to know why Panzer 4 H, KV-1S and T-34E STZ are not rank 3. All the while the Sherman V and almost all versions of M24 are rank 3 (but not the Chinese one).
Some goofy inconsistencies there.
At 5.0 there nothing that the 85mm can’t penetrate. With the exception of the Jumbo and Churchill mk VII

The Flakpanzer 341 used the Gerät 341.
A newly developed 37mm with higher velocity and set up on a side by side mount.
It was built but wasn’t to enter production.
The Ostwind 2 used the Gerät 342.
This was a modified 3.7cm FlaK 43 set up to be mounted side by side, to allow being adopted for vehicle mounting.
It was formal adopted as FlaK 44 and would have replaced the FlaK 43 that couldn’t be used side by side in vehicles.
Biggest change was the use of a foldable or disintegrating ammunition frames and the ability to eject them at the bottom.

The gun was build and tested. Its also just not unique to the vehicle, as it was part of the Schwere Pak development. as the 12,8 cm Pak 80 was seen as better in terms of usablity for AT and as a field gun, it was seen as more versatile and future proof.
It is just because gaijin wants to ‘balance’ number of vehicles per rank.
For example USA’s M4A2 is rank 2 4.0, but Japan’s Chi-Nu is already rank 3 at 3.3.

Wasn’t this just the Flak 44 anyway? If not, was that gun meant SPECIFICALLY for the Coelian and no other uses?

Maybe they would have adopted it like the FlaK 44 but they probably didn’t have the capabilities to mass produce a new gun.
So they stuck with the FlaK 44 which was just a modified FlaK 43.
There were also plans to mount dual 55mm FlaK cannons on the Flakpanzer 341.

Well, the anti-tank gun was built. Not the tank gun, though.
But the technology to mount such cannon was there, if the plans had ever come to fruition.

The panther is a very well armoured tank, and still has a decent gun. Of course it has weak points, every tank does. It’s not incredibly weak in any way thouhh
