What is ONE thing, JUST ONE, that you believe is overperforming and why. Just rant about the thing that you believe is overperforming and how YOU would fixed.
For example, bullets simply do too much damage to aircraft. One 50. cal should not demolish flight performance. Damage to aircraft needs to be nerfed somewhat to give planes “higher” survivability.
Let’s hear your ONE thing you believe is overperforming!
...
Let’s be respectful about what others say too, these are simply opinions that hold little value to Gaijin or to anyone. Just rant. :)
Currently. when a shell impacts soviet ERA, it essentially gets deleted, this is soviet only, all other ERA, when the shell impacts the ERA it can still pen or produce a little spall. This is a deliberate choice by the devs. I would remove this code, treat all ERA consistantly. no more magic ERA
This right here is what I and others feel is a serious problem about how Gaijin handles technology and sources. Why do they insist on us providing hard data to prove obvious errors like AIM-120 having half it’s fin AoA compared to IRL (video and circumstantial evidence) when they also seemingly hand-waved everything about the KH-38MT?
I don’t think it’s fair that developers extend the benefit of the doubt to just one missile and no others.
Yak 38 taking off with both fuel and weapons, able to fly at above realistic abilities while the Harrier is underperforming in a few scenarios likely because of the similar logic of other systems where “if soviets couldnt do it, NATO couldnt either”.
Make it realistic and struggle to fly on certain maps with full loadouts.
Another thing… the overperforming reload of a lot of Soviet based designs around the T54/55/62 region (so includes Chinese 59/69 etc).
There was a choice made by the designers to give up on rate of fire for a smaller vehicle, western designs didnt do this and made vehicles explicitly considering rate of fire for their battle tanks (medium and main). Meanwhile gaijin for “balancing” decided to equalise these things, ignoring the size differences of the tanks and other characteristics. So they share a reload speed with western designs which explicitly made compromises to boost rate of fire such as the Chieftain or being closer to things like the vickers mk1/vijayanta which again, were designed for significant rate of fire while on the move.
Meanwhile again, other designs have had their rate of fire artificially nerfed.
Go back to having more realistic reload speeds.
(edit: RARDEN is an easy example of this issue, 80 rpm though has a on paper of 90, gaijin refuse to increase it even though its 1 of the worst ROF autocannons for its brackets due to “realism” and “the designers made it that way”)
