They ain’t updating anything meaningful for Oplot as dev ends tommorow, and from what mods say, it is in finished state “as is”. I thought of Oplot as of a tank that can do some “full W” gameplay with what armor it should’ve boasted on turret/hull front and sides because Type 10 is just not it, but turns out Type 10 would be better in almost every metric, even armor, as even 3BM42 doesn’t have much problems penning UFP…
And the fact the 3BM42 is 9.7 round…
Not surprised they screwed up the protection on this considering its going to Japan god forbid Japan gets a well armored vehicle
If Oplot gets BR 10.7 I will be happy.
I would rather have it be 12.0 with proper armour that stops all top tier rounds like it is supposed to.

Serious question. I had some irl stuff last few days so I only scanned through the thread.
From what I understand by the discussion taking place, Basically it is missing two 50-60mm steel plates worth of armour as gaijin is modelling it as a part of the ERA array and including the kinetic protection they would provide in the ERA KE protection. Therefore currently the tank has roughly 420mm effective armour against kinetic, whereas it should have at least 150-200 ish mm more.
They gonna close it anyway
*1, but even that one defines whole ahh 170mm protection, which would actually help against top-tier rounds.
ERA is still questionable. Does anyone have tests of the Nizh/Duplet under 0° angle? I still can’t believe 200mm KE from 3x tiles
I don’t understand why Gaijin is generally so afraid of having modern MBTs perform like modern MBTs.
Most if not all have to be nerfed in one or more ways in order to hold it back from being as capable as it should be…
