Opinion: Put M1A1 and IPM1 To 10.3

One I’m 29 2 your math is all wrong class of 14 is turning 30

I’ve made that argument forever and a day, over here, Dutch. Ask Spanish or the others that blocked me because I’m a tenacious s.o.b. about it.

And the fact that the DM23 penned into the armor array, then decided to turn 45 degrees DOWNWARD through the turret ring, is just disgusting.

Lmao skill issue.

That’s just Gaijin’s janky code - I’ve seen shells do weird shit like go through one side, bounce off the inside of the other side, then bounce off the inside again to finally explode. Or silly stuff where it hits the corner of a vehicle at an angle where it should ricochet off but then just does a 180 and penetrates after all killing you.

As have I. But unless they’re going to do the turret fix, that still leaves the M1A1 and IPM1 and everything higher in a struggle.

The more sarcastic ones screaming skill issue are the same ones who avoid US unless they got a squad, or know that something major has changed.

I doubt they’d show their games played as openly as I do.

Edit: Or am I to believe that the German players are satisfied with the Leopard 2A7V in its current configuration?

So,
M1A1 gets an 598mm dart while also an 5 seconds reload
IPM 1 gets an 5 seconds reload with 522mm pen

Lets see what 10.3 tanks offer…
Leopard 2A4 410mm pen with 6 seconds…
T-80B 457mm with 7.1 seconds
Vickers Mk.7 471mm with 6 seconds
Ariete (P) 481mm with 6 seconds

Yea, makes sense
M1A1 and IPM 1 should be clearly reserve…

And M1 with M774 at 372mm.

M833 would give it 395mm. Not perfect, but closer parity.

Edit: Don’t start about reloads, most everyone doesn’t GE for a Gold Elite crew. Leaving them a 5.8 second reload.

I will do start with the reload becaude when you just play you get it for free

“Just play” requires hundreds of battles which you and I both know lots of folks don’t have time or patience for.

Edit: Not a problem to edit.

How did you even get to this BR with your apparent lack of patience

Because people dont aim for weakspots, or miss shots. Dont get me wrong, it isnt always easy to hit those shots, but when you do 99% of the time the tank is out for good, and if it isnt, it is most likely not in a position to be able to move to a place it can repair.

So how does this change how the Abrams play against a 2A4, or a Type-90? If the fix makes it impervious to SPAA, thats great, but was never a point in this thread, or really an issue at all, any SPAA or autocannon can track you and knock your barrel immediately anyway, which leaves you dead in most situations. Either way, changing the turret ring weakspot does one of 2 things. Either it doesnt change anything at all because all the other MBT’s can still pen it, or it makes it impervious to such guns, and you then have a balance problem. Weakspots are on all vehicles, people just need to learn to play around them.
