Opinion: Put M1A1 and IPM1 To 10.3

In the mid-1980s, the US Marine Corps (USMC) considered the M1 Abrams as a replacement to their M60A1 tank fleet. Requesting some modifications to better suit the USMC purposes, the M1A1 Abrams incorporating the changes began production in November 1990. As this new design was used and sent to both US Army and USMC, the tanks became known as the M1A1 HC within the US Army, with “HC” standing for “Heavy Common”. The USMC simply referred to the tank as the “Common”.

From the wiki. So it has the army designation, but its the same tank as the Marine one.

Marines when that had tanks they were sep V2 that had DU plates

The M1A1 HC’s are M1A1’s with DU inserts in the turret.

HC IS army stop disrespecting the Marine Corps by comparing them to the army

‘Disrespecting’, lmao. Oh the poor USMC.

Sorry if I don’t like the thought of it being swept up under the rug of ‘being gaijined’. It’s pretty damnable to have it so we actually have a frigging term for circumstances happening we know break the very laws of physics we like clinging to as a staple in balance.

But sure, if that’s what we’re going to leave it at.

I’ll still hold this opinion though. At least until the turret ring fix happens.

There’s nothing wrong with the tear that the US tanks are at. They just need to add the right US equipment and fix trunt ring in the Abram’s US tree will be fine.

Womp womp.
Homeboy is building an echo chamber lol.

All you can do is get used to it (because even Gaijin themselves have no idea how to fix this), and, seeing you were not aware of this game behavior having a term, then it’s safe of me to assume that you’re relatively new (i.e you started during or right after the pandemic) to WT, correct? If so, such issues have been present ever since WT introduced Ground Forces into the game, but they’ve been exacerbated by the influx of “Children of the pandemic” (there’s simply too many people playing at all times, lol).

You don’t recognize me, I’ve been here for four years.

See above.

Aka, you are new

Without some scrublord? Sounds great.

I’ve been here since 2015

Sorry, was there a time limit on how long a player has to be in the game to be considered ‘old’?

I’m old since high school I’ve been playing I’m 30 now so when I say something about the shit being off I was here when the Hellcat first broke the game

Unless you were held back some years in HS, it’d be impossible to have started WT in 2015 and be 30 years old by now. Average high schooler age is something between 14 and 18, and if you were 18 (senior/fourth/final year in average US high school) at war thunder release, you’d be 27 or 28 now.

Therefore, the only way to be the age you claim is to have taken more than four years of high school.

Again, what would you like them to do to it? Make it inpenetrable? What is this fix people keep talking about?

Not even close, the Era on the T-80 series doesnt cover any of the weakspots, and even if it did, it wouldnt be able to stop rounds going through those weakspots, and still doesnt make up for the lack of reverse, awful gun handling and terrible gun depression, The T-72’s and T-90 are the same.

OK, so you haven’t been made aware that the turret ring on everything above the M1A1 is completely modeled wrong, giving it an RHA thickness of less than 60mm when it’s in fact over 200mm, and thus should be impervious to most every SPAA in the game.

M1A1 model has been bugged since the beginning.

It soaks a hell of lot more than you’d think, most times.

It doesn’t, there’s a weakspot on the turret ring due to modeling not being entirely accurate, which is basically a guaranteed kill shot. It sucks, but has nothing to do with BR. If you’d argue the model needs fixed, then you’d have a case…
