Operation of Missiles and Realistic Air Battles

The aircraft events should also be searchable in ground battle modes; the realistic air modes are very poor. I’ve read from all sources, from Gaijin to questions from community colleagues, about how missiles work, especially the Fox 3. I understood and tested how the MP plus the notch works with and without chaff, and the chaff itself. And I realized that it’s possible that in two very similar situations with the same aircraft and the same missiles, there are two different results where one hits and the other misses (I tested this with a friend in a custom battle). I haven’t found anything that definitively explains why there are differences in results in such similar situations. From what I understand, Gaijin only mentions this superficially and without specifying what makes the MP fail or work, which leaves a huge sense of dependence on luck. The game seems to have chosen a mode that isn’t realistic because there are missiles in the game that should ignore multiplayer but don’t, and it’s not arcade-like enough to avoid reliance on luck and/or frustration. Being frustrated because the game is realistic makes it understandable and makes me want to play and learn more; being frustrated in a mode that should be realistic but has arcade elements that prevent realism and don’t help make the game more fun only makes me want to quit. PS: I’m open to tips if anyone knows how, in extremely similar, almost identical situations, the missile can have two different outcomes.

Nah, if they do that, then you wouldnt be able to use CAS to complete the ground events which are 10x worse than the air events.

Holy wall of text
Please don’t destroy ground modes for 3 weeks just so CAS players who suck at air modes can farm tank players
