Only use lvl 100 players data for BR adjustments and trends, new players just lower tanks data effectiveness

Just a stabilized 30B2 with better mobility and optics.
Stabilization alone is worth a lot in this tier.

Yes, but having 34% WR might limit what German DF105 can do due to teams being atrocious.

But it does not justify a 1.0 BR difference.

Sure. But you’d then expect at least the K/D and K/S being somewhat similar

Unless you pair it with better mobility and optics.
AMX-30 Super is extremely strong at 9.3, especially with it’s busted fuel tanks that like to eat whole darts for dinner. French tax I guess.

Difference between two DF105s is surprisingly small all things considered.

Yeah I would have thought the french one would have better stats. It’s like literally the only semi stable oscilating turret. I have boh the DF and the CLOVIS and my stats are way better in the DF than the clovis.

I’d just like the CLOVIS to get it’s stabiliser or darts (or both) and move up.

Would be nice for the French to get something stabilized.

If they add only the stabiliser 8.3, only the darts 8.7, both 9.0. But knowing gaijin They would put it at 9.7 because france is not allowed stabilisers under 9.3 and the only one allowed there is the shitty amx 32 or a premium.

I doubt that’s enough.
CLOVIS is really fast, has good reload, gun handling and gun depression paired with a LRF and 20mm autocannon.

CLOVIS with full stabilization is at the very least 8.7 material, if not 9.0.

You realize that player level does NOT correlate with skill AT ALL?

Why?

Reason 1:

Player level is acquired REGARDLESS of what you do.

I can play a thousand hours air sim games, then go and try to play ground arcade and be absolutely useless. Even going into adjacent air modes, the skills don’t transfer cleanly. None the less, that thousand hours will make me level 100.

Reason 2:

Player level is acquired REGARDLESS of how you do.

All that governs player level is RESEARCH POINTS. Not performance. Not K/D. Not even playtime!

You can have someone who played 100 hours with a premium account and a premium jet in air RB and have gathered the necessary 14,482,500 RP.

You can also have someone who plays non-premium fighters somewhere like SBEC where your max reward is capped at like 2000 RP without, 2500 with landing per each 15 minute interval using rank III and Rank IV fighters.

I’m level 77.

I have also played 852 hours.

Let me reiterate: I’m level 77 with 852 hours.

Why?

370 of it is in SBEC with very low maximum RP gain

Meanwhile there’s people with just 200 or 300 hours of TOTAL play time who are level 100 already. Why? Premium acc and Premium vehicle.

Just with sim alone, let’s say you’re flying the mig-23ML (buy it at hour 0). It has an RP economy of 2x250%. my Bf 109 F4 has an economy of 1x136%. Let’s assume we both get max RP gain every 15 minutes and we also land. So, they get 2500/136x250x2= 9191 RP/15 minutes.

Let’s give them a premium account as well. 9191x2 = 18382 RP per 15 minutes.

Goal: 14,482,500 RP

109F4 from 0: 14482500/2500x15/60= 1449 hours
Mig-23ML with premium from 0: 14482500/18382x15/60= 197 hours

… Do I need to say anything more than just showing this calculation? (Why use sim as an example? Because sim has a fixed maximum potential reward for fixed time periods that can be easily worked with and cannot be exceeded except with boosters. Also cross-checked my mig-23ml calc. A10a with its 226x2 RP modifier and premium acc gets 17060 RP per 15 minutes when landing per heliboy’s sheet: Community Bug Reporting System. So, it’s within range for the 2x250 jet)

Addendum:
Since I’m only level 77, should my 60 hours of Bf 109 F-4 be ignored and not considered for its BR balancing (assuming gaijin remembers WW2 props exist in sim or that the 109 F-4 would need BR balancing. She’s perfect at 4.0)

which is just as useless as on the amx30 series due to HVAP.

8.7 is fine (if the turm goes up as well) but 9.0 with only HEAT is kinda a miss. 9.0 with stab and darts

not to mention you could technically get to lvl100 by just playign reserve vehicles if you wanted. Such a person would have no idea what to do in even mid tiers.

Still better than 7.62mm found on DF105.

What dart are we talking about ?

yet somehow worse than a .50cal

Not exactly sure which type but I would assume something similar to what the AMX-10RC has. It was tested on the turret as they had to modify the muzzle brake for it (the one that we have in game is modeled after it afaik). Looking at the fact it’s a french 105mm probably not better than what the amx-30 has

If it is OFL 105 F1 then CLOVIS would be going up to 9.3 as a minimum.
There it would be a clear contender to Centauro and TAM 2IP.

No argument there. But it might have been the OFL 105 F3 which is what the AMX 10RC has and would make more sense at 9.0. I’ll go check if there is any info on that

TAM is at 9.0 with only DM23.
Centauro is at 9.3 with only DM23.

CLOVIS has some clear advantages over those two, regardless of dart pen.

What apart from an autoloader does it have over those 2?

The brochure does not really specify which exact dart it uses.

This would suggest it uses the OFL 105 G1

Just cause someone’s lvl 100 doesn’t mean they’re good. I’m still ass at the game

Compared to TAM it has, as you said, better reload speed, better gun handling and gun depression and of course, 20mm autocannon.
Compared to Centauro it has all of the above and better mobility but loses out on thermals.

CLOVIS with 105 G1 and stabilization is 9.3 material.

So that should be a slight upgrade over DM23.

Which I already said is useless (unless there is a helicopter close and low enough to shoot at).

Where’d you put it without the dart?

Can be useful and is definitely better than what TAM/Centauro get.

Can’t decide between 8.7 and 9.0 but seeing the recent pampering France has gotten I’d say it’d end up at 8.7.
