Finally, match outcomes are more often than not decided quite swiftly within the first 5 minutes, almost entirely irregardless of BR. Such is intended by Gaijin through their terribly designed systems, to the detriment of us all. Your desire to punish the playerbase for Gaijin’s incompetence in this regard is both short-sighted and a foolish hill to die on.
I’m working on giving you what you want. I’m doing it by playing a LOT less than I used to. There are other games out there. Gaijin has made it perfectly clear they aren’t going to give a mode for just tanks, and they’re going to keep letting aircraft rule in the “ground combat” mode.
I don’t suggest anyone join me in any other game, but my steam friends can see what I play.
When I do play WT, though, I will still 1DL or 0DL if I want to. I’m all for them upping the punishment for leaving early, as it will cause more tankers to do the same. Maybe, with enough tankers balking at driving the targets, those of us who want a ground-oriented ground combat mode will finally get it.
There are a few problems that cause 1DL. They are repair costs, poor map design, uptiers, spawncamping, and getting gaijined. They are all reasons to 1DL.
If gaijin can fix some of them, 1DL will slow down, but it will never be completely eliminated.
Why are your stats average like 0.4 kd and <1kpb if you are 200 IQ in game theory
Also, you don’t play high tier almost at all, you have basically no idea what LRF and darts do to map design. Since you do not know, I have to make a different game analogy to suit you. Imagine DOOM from 1993 except there is no rocket launcher or BFG, all the rooms filled with hundreds of enemies are now 100x stronger and the game is a slog, the maps suddenly become badly designed by absence or inclusion of weaponry with no direct map changes.
What do you mean, helping a team mate put out a fire or repair gives you 50 silver lions, it’s totally worth risking your 4000-8000sl repair cost to help them!
I can fire up those BRs if you so desire my words to mean something, but the basis of my opinion will still remain…
No matter the advice, or the point raised, those who are having issue with the game, will only see the issue with the game… Not with themselves, especially when people are more focused on gatekeeping making the point because ‘You don’t play top teir!’ where the issue is across the board, and echoes the same, exact, mantra…
Point D very well put. I have been having this happen and lucky if I get one good balanced match out of 20 I crap you not. so now I joined the one death leave group and you can thank the devs.
GJ already awards those who stay and spawn multiple times. End game results. 1 death leaver with 2 kills is in the lower 10%, a 5 death leaver with 2 kills is in the top 10%.
As a SPAA player with 5 to 8 kills but no death, lower 50% and small battle activity award, Seems GJ loves those who don’t question why, just do and die.
The issue is that all of those are perception based.

You’re making out that those ‘reasons’ forgo any of the ‘choice’ that the player had, which is relating to the concept that they could’ve made a difference, but their ‘problem’ being a mental barrier, is stopping them from seeing that it isn’t over as thier mom ain’t singing.
So, similar like in enlisted. Encouragement for players to not bother trying to survive.
Except kind of better there, as there are no repair/healing costs in enlisted (yet).
I think one way to reduce the 1DL would be to have PvE mode. That is not a masochism seance like the ones (high ranks/BR) we have now.

Just change your behavier in game and maybe some will stop 1DL.
it is not always on the 1DLs its on Gaijin and on the other Players that lead some Player to left after one death.
Dont use SPAA against tanks their Target are in Air-
Dont cap only to “J-Out” and jump in a damm Plane in Ground Battle
Use you Plane against the enemy Planes
dont Camp and Bomb the Spawns
Spot enemys and reakt to spottet enemys
Cap and protect capzones
just do something realistic tactical gameplay
and so on…
there are still too many bugs and problems in this "Realistic " game that lead to quit- Mapdesign - Teams-inconsistence in Weaponseffect and Armor - Wheeled Cars that almost stop when the tyres get wet or that slide sideways on every small hill …
if you wanna live with that than you should be able to live with 1DL´s also
If you have still problems with 1DL - deinstall the game and give Bingo a try
