He did not hit my driver. Minor spalling may have hit the driver. His shots were off target and placed terribly. It is extremely easy to kill any IFV in the game from behind with an autocannon. You have got to be joking if you think that I survived ‘because of the 9040’s survivability!’
So then there was no damage to your driver?
Do you unironically believe that my driver can survive a direct hit from 57mm APFSDS?
Do you honestly believe that being hit by one of the smallest spall cones at high and top tier doesn’t count as a hit?
Had the same experience while playing my M1 Abrams lmao. The guy just hold down his left click and spent 25+ round harrasing me thru the smoke until i died. Lots of skill required for that.
Then start grinding other nations, that’s the player’s skill issue(yes gaijin fault for adding toptier especially tanks in general). 2S38 got nerfed. also the APFSDS has 0 spalling, against Leopard 2’s the front is safe exept driver, and from the side you have to hit the crew like it’s a double spalliner, it’s worse than the spalling of a tank with spalliners and a normal size shell
Yes. Its slower than EVERY mbt. Thus it can’t flank them and use it’s firerate to kill everyone from the sides.
And besides that, it’s situational vehicle - how can it be op?
T-80ud is better.
I don’t see the reason why people comparing it with HSTV-L only, while Begleitpanzer and CV9040 series are much much closer to 2S38 in multi-role capabilities.
You have killed 9040A without any composite screens, no wonders you one-shotted it.
but you seem to play the 2s38 more than the hstlv which you only have 10 games in.
this has been happening for years.
And another hundreds of games against HSTVLs. Those 10 games it survived lot of stuff that would kill it. Half of the shots just disable turret ring and that is the only damage, then you turn whole tank and kill the enemy, repair and continue on your way.
No, it’s not.
That if the enemy isn’t a STRV or 2A7 or BVM that 99% of the time you fight against.
HSTVL does fine against those from my experience.
And again… another “ruski bias” brainless crying, I wonder how the authors of such topics have the energy to write them all the time
They do not.
The 2s38 and BMP-2M, to name just two examples, do the exact same thing. It has nothing to do with the HSTVL, or any other vehicle for that matter, and everything to do with how the game handles armor at extremely shallow angles. Due to the vagaries of online multiplayer this can sometimes happen even when it looks like it shouldn’t on your screen. Because of this vehicles with harshly angled plates have a tendency to survive shots they probably shouldn’t.
Strv 103 my beloved <3
