AC8 question: Which Shadow squadron encounter was in your opinion the best?
The ones that don’t piss QAAMs at you mid kulbit.
Torn between 160th in mission 3 and Moonligh 11.
Moonlight 11 for obvious reasons, but theres something memorable hearing that chant for the first time echoing over the radio entire time before you merge and then hearing “theyre not running”. Damn straight bozo, were taking the skies back.

Aside from Luna 11 I’m torn between the encounters between Retaking of Theve II (180th, 160th and 77th) and the 100th + 99th in Escort Orbiter.
The 77th and co because I found it really fun that not only do you have to deal with a larger shadow force this time but also have to split attention between attacking the shadows and helping the ground units.
The 100th and 99th because it feels so cool to hold off two entire shadow squadrons single handedly to allow your allies to escape.
I really wanted to like the 33rd, 44th and 120th more but the SAAM kinda shredded most of the shadow aircraft.

I definitely recommend the F-4E. It’s dirt cheap and really fun at higher levels.
Does anyone here play World of Warcraft? Curious what the overlap is between WoW and WT, they’re quite disparate games, and despite my having played WT far more, WoW has a lot of sticking power. Probably due to it being an RPG with a narrative.
