Well, none of us make the rules or the decisions that go into vehicle placements. Gaijin doesn’t seem to think of nations like Australia as sub-trees and south african planes aren’t in the british tree, simply because they haven’t gotten around to adding south african planes I assume
That like saying Italy is a sub tree of Germany and at the same time being a independent tree

The are in the game but not in the game legally speaking being in the game you have a tech tree or a least a tech tree to call home. or that’s how I’d define it.

Fair, if that’s how you define them being in the game, but factually speaking, they are in the game, even though they have just a couple vehicles sprinkled into some trees
Heck, even Czechoslovakia (or is it just czechia at that point?), Poland, Saudi Arabia and the Iraq are in the game
To me these are the nations in game:
USA
Germany
USSR
UK
Japan
China
Italy
France
Sweeden
Israel
South Africa
Finland
Hungary
Any nation that is not on that list has representation but is not truly in game.

Again, if that’s how you wanna define being in the game, fair.
But imho Australia, Canada, Romania, Turkey, Taiwan, Poland and even Argentina are all pretty well represented all things considered
This is still a very bad system. Because now the Germans can’t get the KF41 even though it originates from them.
I am pretty sure they can get it, it’s just a matter of how they are going to get it (event, premium, squadron, battlepass)
That’s the opinion of people arguing for anything from a sub tree nation. It’s only used by Hungary.
Meanwhile I can say something like the Atlas Cheetah being in South Africa is fine being only in South Africa as part of the U.K.

I don’t see any reason for gaijin to not give germany the KF41 as a non-tech tree (premium, event, etc) vehicle
The moment Japan gets a sub tree, War Thunder will have balanced tech trees across the board.
Balanced in the sense of options.
