more like rusty sawblade left outdoors in a semi collapsed garden shed.
Oh hell yeah, I love being put into a coma, waking up after a week and realizing I’ve wasted valuable time while learning jack poo!
Tim is probably one of the few bearable CCs I watch. Nice guy without the “hur dur 1v1 me” cringe.
At least you know that tank can make you a brand spanking new one if you’re not careful.
Idk man, I’d rather just play the game and figure that out myself lol
Does anyone else find Naval frustrating? I absolutely can’t stand Naval RB mode, AB makes things a bit better.
Not so much about the lack of balancing; it is legendary and we know it.
But rather, about the gameplay and how ships function and maps
You turn left and right and has it wait for the ship to settle a bit, which will then turn the opposite direction a little bit, leaving you unable to fire accurately for 20 something seconds
Some ships has powerful recoil that ruins your ship’s direction
The waves are really large and whether you hit the enemy boat (coastal) is luck based
You approach a island, and watch your target go away, but you can’t do anything about it because it may take 30+ seconds to cross a island
If your ship is not perfectly straight, the guns go all over the place
A dumb bot or teammate collided? Oh, time to turn again.
The maps either are too big (south kravok) or too closed (palau islands) where it’s just sailing for the most of the match and doing nothing else
You got a fire on the ammo elevator? You watch helplessly as your ship takes forever to exhaust the fire then explode
Gun turret disabled? You can’t do much especially if your bridge is damaged as well. This is not tanks, there is no easy retreat
Boy I don’t know who that John Roscoe guy is but I like his style, and I am willing to bet he is a handsome devil with brains to boot. You know, not that I know him or anything. It’s certainly not me.
Pewdiepie still gets sponsors after all the shit he pulled, so it’s not that surprising.
Touching back on an earlier topic:

8Head is a squadron who’s commander is a VERY popular CC, who has appeared on camera directly linked to Gaijin events. Some random in his CC squadron scores like this?
(Some notes; yeah I was having a bad game personally, so what, it’s Rank II, I don’t really care, and I’m playing down in Rank II because my China ground tree has been neglected so it needs work)
Now is it possible it’s legit? Sure. Of course. I’ve had games like this, and well above Rank II. I had a 13 and 0 game in my Tiger II Sla. last year. And I’m only marginally competent.
But when it’s a rando in a CC’s squadron, and that CC also is unnatural, it leads one to question. And when you notice that current CCs have had dealings and associations with cheaters in the past… Well Gaijin’s big name CCs are never going to be above question as far as I am concerned.
Think about this; how much value would the big CCs be to Gaijin if they didn’t have “help?” Beyond suspected hacking. Really, they don’t even need that. Gaijin is perfectly capable of providing them “engagement based matchmaking.”
Anyway, this is a digression, no one has to agree with me here, but I’m just saying this is my mindset when it comes to the large CCs, and why I don’t place much value in them myself. Defyn, Spookston, Odd, BPa_Jon, they are marketing and advertising tools. Not players. That’s MY personal take, no one need agree. I’m just providing my reasons why I feel this way.
Apparently not enough for 3 ppl to get triggered and start complaining about humour that doesn’t appeal to them on a forum for a video game.

Pump the brakes the mods will come after you, not him.
Let’s get back to dunking on CCs.
I mean, all I tried to say is I judge things depending on how good the learning experience and the gameplay is.
I’ve a thicker skin than most in that regard it seems but as someone in search of improving own skills I can only say that’s the kind of stuff I have to sift through.
Sorry if I offended anyone but that’s just my POV.
Requiem is pretty great and keeps it professional. Now, he’s not Warthunder-specific, but dude is a legitimate flight instructor so he goes in depth where needed to achieve comprehension, not just mimicry.
Wingaling is a Warthunder specific CC and his biggest motto is to create a welcoming, encouraging community to make people excited to play sim. Dude’s just chill and cool.
Squishface can keep his opinions, whatever those are, out of his videos and I appreciate the focus on just warthunder rather than off-topic subjects. His most political take was dunking on a dude in duels who claimed flight sims could teach you to fly millitary jets and used interesting words to describe people living in the middle east as a basis for “how difficult could it be.” He didnt even comment on it, just showed screenshot of his discord/forum posts and then recording of their highly one-sided duel.
TrainingDays also seems to focus only on educative focus rather than weird comedy.
I cant really comment on Idaho or Flying Tea-rex outside of their plane reviews/tutorials, but those reviews/tutorials remain focused on just the plane (with some complaining about japan from IdahoBookworm)
That’s a bunch of CCs who helped me get more consistent in my planes off top of my head for WT or flight sims without questionable humour.
One name: ZELATOR
He’s young. It’s not his fault. Look at the crap that is pushed on teens and 20s. He was targeted by these people. I do not hold it against him, rather, I get mad at the people my age and older who did this to him.
This is what grifting is. And it is exceptionally prevalent in the media spaces teens and 20s are most likely to inhabit in high numbers. Like gaming content. It is a coordinated effort to normalize asocial and bigoted worldviews via “humor.”
“It’s just a joke bro” except when it’s constantly the only jokes, bro, it seeps in to the part of your mind that isn’t just jokes. When you’re surrounded in it, you internalize it and adopt it, without even knowing.
My experience with “Just a joke” is that it’s:
“It’s just a joke” when it’s received badly.
“You too?” when it’s received well.
Bit of a verbal IFF of sorts.
Yup. Classic dogwhistling.
