Only slightly easier to maintain than a real tiger

A nice brownie? Looks more like my life…cracking into pieces after 30 Yak-9s coming after my Do 217 E-2…
With MSRP prices ?
Red Devil doesn’t sell at MSRP price, it’s the premier card from Powercolor for the 9070XT. Reaper was the MSRP card for PowerColor. Since this is Limited Edition (#806/1500), and you get goofy shiz like the GPU key cap, you’re paying even more. Red Devil normal was 1299AUD (Aussies Dollars + tax), Limited Edition was 1359, and Reaper was 1139. It’s funny how many people think these cards are all going to go for the same price - if that was the case, AIBs would just make the one card and that’s it.
I was talking about MSRP for the specific model, not all 9070XTs in general.
1139 AUD for the Reaper seems good.
Ah, apologies. Yeah, for the most part - the cards haven’t risen from where the vendors priced their various cards - unlike the 50 series Nvidia cards. It’s just that these days, the vendors are charging more for the more premium cards in the line-up, when the differences used to be much less. Not that there has been enough stock of these things to be too choosy. Though, I was quick enough to decide between Red Devil and Reaper, and chose the former. The only ones who should be crying about the price of their cards are those in Europe - I’ve seen some insane prices in places like Sweden and it seems to be normal for them.
That’s the sad part.
Asking 40% more for a slightly better cooler and some cosmetics isn’t something many people enjoy seeing.
We got screwed the most I’d say. It’s like our retailers took the scalping business on themselves lmao.
Here in Croatia the cheapest 9070XT (XFX SWIFT) is 887 euros after tax or 1536 AUD. Considering the living standard differences I’d say we’re effectively paying almost double than you do.
Very fair. The 1299 for the normal Red Devil, and XFX Mercury OC were fine here - the Limited Edition thing certainly wasn’t needed. That’s just me being a sucker, like when I buy a premium in War Thunder.
Yeah, I’ve seen the Red Devil going for like $1700AUD in some parts of Europe. At least I’m paying what they cost in the US of A, even if I am spending extra $$$ on stuff that won’t matter too much. Interesting point about that 1536, that is more than our cheapest 5070ti (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/68650/zotac-gaming-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-solid-gddr7-16gb) - though, that’s probably a fake price since there is no stock to be found for it any time soon. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to go giving Nvidia any money after how they’ve been acting.
Wish we could get anything for 1299, as even the cheapest non-XT model is 1412 AUD.
Premium in WT is generally a much better value than any premium SKU.
Your card here is at 1711 AUD.
I don’t think anyone sane should be buying 5070/Ti.
Base 5070 is at the same price as 9070 XT here.
Granted you actually make use of it. I’ve lost count of the amount of premiums i’ve bought and then hardly ever used, having bought it when it was 50% off or so (which is still like 50AUD), lol.
I only buy yearly premiums when they’re on sale.
I know I’ll be able to at least put out 300-400 hours of playtime during that time period, so in my opinion it’s definitely worth it. Especially when most of the GJN spent comes from actually playing the game and selling event vehicles.
At that point it’s borderline free.
