Object 775 9.3 LOSAT 10.3

Even at only 500m LOSAT has more penetration than 120mm DM23, which isn’t even in the same performance category as Rubin.

Yes if every engagement could be at 500 meters on flat terrain I’d find the LOSAT quite capable.

Yes the LOSAT is quite fast, it’s not the fastest tank even at 9.3

Yes the Rubin is a mediocre ATGM, so is the LOSAT’s missile unless you are able to engage at long distance.

He cant brawl with it therefore it sucks

You can brawl with the LOSAT?

Every map has 500m+ sight lines.

What 9.3 or below vehicle beats it in mobility ?

500m isn’t a long distance.

Even at like 250m it should have comparable pen the apfsds around its br

Yes it is possible to generally find at least one position with one sight line that allows you to make use of the LOSAT’s missile. Unfortunately the majority of maps in War Thunder are suited for CQC, this combined with the LOSAT’s inability to depress its gun and its lack of a stabilizer make it effectively useless except for highly situational and specific scenarios.

A vehicle which is only useful in highly specific situations is not effective. Especially at a BR range where the majority of vehicles are capable of moving faster or as fast as it.

9.3 will see some down tiers where the vehicle can make use of its movement while retaining semi functional penetration at lower ranges as composite armor isn’t coupled with extreme ERA yet.

Yes at 9.3 it will see comparable penetration at 250 meters.

It has kinetic not chemical rounds

LOSAT needs better map design, not low BR. The IJN Yamato can’t bounce a LOSAT ATGM, so I don’t see how the target being a low BR helps. Snail God just hates sniping maps because the normies are bad at scouting out sniper positions / using recon drones / shooting things more than 400m away.

Yes.

Yes but Gaijin is not going to redo every single map in the game any time soon. Until such a time the LOSAT’s current placement is unjustified.

So just like every other TD in the game.
Highly situational, yes.

Yeah, we got some players who want war thunder to just be CoD with tanks.
And yeah, just because a vehicle cant perform 100% on every map doesnt mean it needs a super low br.

No other TD in the game is incapable of engaging targets at point blank range.

9.3 isn’t “super low”.

For something with kinetic rounds with pen as high as the losat’s, yes

Engaging stuff at point blank with a TD is your own fault buddy.

Nah, the LOSAT can get wrecked by a BT-5 on urban maps, and it does more damage than Castle Bravo to everything in the game. It is good at the things it is good at, and bad at the things it is bad at. Being map dependent makes it bad, and no BR changes will fix it. You are either good at using it because your map knowledge is good, or you are bad at using it because your map knowledge is bad. There is nothing BR changes can offer you.
