I honestly have no idea and given the state of this game I wouldn’t be surprised if that actually was the case. Half of the bugs this game has just can’t be explained so nothing really shocks me anymore. Had a match a while ago with the IS-4 and got my barrel destroyed but somehow the repair only took like 8s and the reload was cut down to 4s. Never had this bug or anything similar again. Yesterday I survived a 1000kg bomb only to be killed by 250kg a few min later.
They act like Gaijin wouldn’t benefit from making the game look more fun than it is and call it a conspiracy theory.
It was like this until recently… I’ve been racking up deaths by firecrackers.
My confidence on taking bombs used to be through the roof whenever someone tried to bomb me, before the bombs goes off I would mock them in the chat “why don’t you shitheads just cap the objective points with your jet bro, please do something more beneficial to the team”, now it just blows up to bird poops.
They just cherrypick footage from a number of games until they get some that fits the narrative they want to push. They are literally monetarily incentivised to lie to people and yet people still parrot them non-stop.
That’s why some of them changed their ign to “Player” so you can’t trace what they do, if I tried hard enough I would have a gameplay video showing how M22 is 7.3 material with 6 kills no death at 7.3, but behind the scene I had spent the entire day and failed 50 times trying to record that “cool moment”
That is a function to avoid people streamsniping/recognising and greifing in game, it only changes it to “Player” for them, for everyone else in the match the name is randomly generated, you can still easily trace what they are doing by searching the actual name of their account and checking match history using that name as the search filter. But the rest of what you said is right.
Look at their old videos and check the username. If they haven’t changed it you can get funny results. Just take any of those videos that show a russian bias op tank then look at their KD. Most of the time it’s the same as in their other tanks or even worse yet they keep pandering to their noob audience that still believes russian bias exists.
The same [nice people] that continue to ruin maps, implement useless features nobody asked for, ignore cheaters and never listen to the community? Nah they wouldn’t do something like that.
I see you played 7.7 a lot, have you considered getting the T-10A? it has a single plane stab and reloads 5 seconds quicker than the IS-4M, not too sure about the bomb-resistant compared to the IS-4M though. Only thing I didn’t like about it is the reverse speed, only 8kph compare to IS-4 which is 11
I considered getting the T-10A when it was cheap on the marketplace 3 years ago but chose the IS-6 but now it’s 87 GJN and events don’t give you nearly as much GJN as they did a few years ago.
One of only 2 vehicle I regret not going for when I could easily get them the other being the AGS. Both are now expensive marketplace vehicles I can never get again.
It should be the same against bombs as the T-10M and that one is terrible. Also it doesn’t have the good side armor of the IS-4M to troll noobs that don’t know where to shoot.
