Full day of dying by puny 250lbs and 750lbs lol it’s no longer the explosive-proof vehicle we used to know, so don’t spend $1000 and expect it to be able to troll some CAS and now it just die to bombs of any size like anything else.
If it weren’t obvious enough, I literally have had single digit death count by bombs in about 300 deaths, for the past two days I’ve have more bomb deaths in 15 deaths than in 300 lol
ZERO sympathy. Every other armored tank in this game dies to 500 lb bombs and HEATfs. That the 279 was randomly immune to bombs was an utter joke. I’ve dropped 2000 lb bombs that bounce off the turret and still the tank just get tracked.
The tank still has the one of the highest effective armor values vs average weapon of its BR while bosting one of the best cannons and far higher mobility than it should ever have had. It also has an autolader wasn’t functional (was removed for fire tests) and was only theoretically able to fire at its listed rate. Its an experemental propaganda piece that was never put into production for very good reasons. It has no reason to be one of the best tanks at its br.
Yeah, that mf even fares pretty well against apfsds- its that good. I rarely see it (Its not used a lot in AB), but when I do it absolutely curbstomps 99% of things it faces.
After hundreds of matches you will be able to tell something is wrong lol like your cat suddenly hadn’t piss for the whole day you would bring it to the vet. It used to shrug off 1-ton bombs embedded in the turret or directly under it and never be able to kill it, you had witnessed it survived this a hundred times over and suddenly start blowing up to every smol 250lbs land within 5-10m lol

The turret is incredibly strong so yes, due to the crew placements you will not be able to one-shot it through the turret even with DM23, you are getting through the ufp quite easily like 80% of the time, lower end apfsds from T-55s or T95E1 seems to struggle, and don’t ever go after the lfp and you will not be able to kill it except I activated 3000% boosters your apfsds found a smol hole under there
The IS-4M was affected aswell and I think the Maus did too. It used to be pretty survivable to bombs until last year then it started dying to tiny 50kg bombs. Last week this made a comeback for a day and now it’s back to dying to everything. :(
So what do you think bro, is this considered a bug? the game has been doing different things every update, I think they cranked up the overpressure which seems to ignored things that were supposed to have some immunity/resistance against the damage type, I think Thunder with Muffin wouldn’t be able to made a video of Object 279 bomb resistance without dying to the first 50kg bombs lol
Lol if you swap the T-10M with Object 279 and also swap the bomb size to 500lbs it will kill the Object 279 now lol somehow that M48 survived and still NATO mains going to ignore the fact that BS like this happens to everyone and insist on calling it bussian rias
Both tanks are in a similar situation but somehow one is the “saddest heavy tank” and the other is the “nuke tank”. If the full uptier in the IS-4M wasn’t full of retards he would’ve died immediately. Maybe CCs do have a special matchmaker lol.
I am not a programmer but I learned how to mod Mugen fighting game engine during the first lockdown, there is this thing called VarSet which you set a value and apply it to an object and set a special condition for it, if the said condition is met then the object will be sent to this special state, it can last for a limited amount of time if you said so. So this makes me think the game’s global variables are more complex than we all think, it’s not as simple as a yes or no, it could have a special state where your vehicle attributes vary depending on, let’s say, trigger by day, example Monday to Wednesday selected vehicles enters a state where the global overpressure codes ignored their armor value, which explains a full day of getting loloverpressured by fire crackers, the next day it becomes immune to explosive again, then outside of vehicles’s special state trigger by the time/date then you have maps rotation trigger by days too, like Monday the state tells the game to give you more advance to the rhine, tuesday you have a higher probability of getting tunisia etc, this may sound ridiculous but this is one way to achieve balance and give everybody a chance to win, and I don’t think a “premium-favoritism-code” sounds as ridiculous as everybody think, all these are perfectly possible with just a few line of codes bro
