This will most likely functionally remove nukes from the gamemode based upon using them. It wouldn’t feel good having a longer flight with several A2G and a couple A2A kills, only to die to an OP SPAA and lose out on being able to use a nuke.
Queue in for the lower bracket. Only use planes 11.3 or 11.7 and lower. If you go in with 0 personal planes and use the default ones you will get a queue pretty much instantly.
Next advice is to grind US FIRST, and RU second. All of the US queues are shorter on the first day of each new task.
Same message to you. If you want to complete both, work on the US first. Stop trying to queue into 12.0+ for US, at least until AFTER you have completed the US task.
There is effectively 0 queue for the lower/default bracket for the US, you have no reason not to be able to complete both if you want both vehicles. I have been able to complete both side’s tasks on the first day, in 1 or 2 matches each. Ezpz.

I think for the event itself the SP system is fine. However since this is confirmed to be a recurring gamemode, a major change to SP needs to be done, because right now its the meta to rush into the furball at the center, get as many kills as possible, die, and repeat
This is obviously not a super engaging, varied, and interesting gameplay loop that this game mode can very feasibly acheive

yeah the RWR pinging 24/7 slowly makes me forget about it OSA and flakrads are like 85% of my deaths its really annoying dealing with them while also in a 3v1 as they cant be multipathed
if its that bad id just suggest ground striking
Try setting your RWR to 75% or 80%. I would advise NOT setting it lower than this, but between 75% and 85% has been working great for me today. FAR less useless pings, only pings when something is actually locking and/or launching on me.
90% was barely different from 100%, still pinging almost nonstop. 75%-85% seems to be a fairly ideal range for this event.

You can adjust the sensitivity of your RWR in the options. I’m going to be testing various %'s today. Hopefully to at least filter out the Patriot’s and S-300’s when I am only near the frontline:
The gap between OSA/strelas vs Rolands are so egregious I’ve just spawncamped shamelessly on a blufor airfield with other 4 teammates and not even the gepards got us.
Either nerf the OSA further or bring an actual competitive short range SPAA for the US.
the problem is that these systems are perfectly aimed SACLOS missiles that can only be defeated kinetically. All that needs to be done is to force them to hold a radar lock to guide their missiles (which is what they would require to actually effectively target supersonic jets) .Increasing the timer between their destruction and respawn would make it actually useful to clear them.
Also the ability for a system of that size from the 80’s being able to engage and destroy munitions is also somewhat suspect. I could see Patriot or the S-300 doing it, but a self contained launcher having that capability is weird. I am not super familiar with these systems however, and would love to be corrected on this point.

That’s my only problem. You are fighting and if you have your attention in the MiG for example and don’t see the OSA launching if it gets to 4km you are done…because when you are evading the first one , there are other 2 comming and maybe from different angle from different system that you may didn’t see .
I haven’t played after the change to reloads and thinning their numbers though. But Sunday, last time i played, usually that was the case…

Tho there is no doubt OSA is basically a one-hit-kill rn. Its impossible to dodge if not hide behind rock
Question: i cant select a turret onto the the B-52H. Is that also a bug or is there specific button to do so?

I have it, i cycle through cameras and there is just no turret view. THere are 3rd person, angle viewer, bomb sight and thats all
You have to be in first person view for the gunner, just enable the “camera from the aircraft gunner sight”
Strange. Would test it today, maybe the recent bugfix did make it. The day before yesterday i couldnt toggle that view. Thanks!
Ah so it wont show until i choose that setting? I turned it off as with most of the planes it makes aim harder

it doesnt have a third person view because its only a tailgun, if it had a turret that covered more than 90 degrees it would be in third person
